k9 hand contemplation pls.
haha. ok.
I open btn £7 on £2 straddle, he has just lost aforementioned pot to Sean and 3bets the small blind vquickly to £25 (playing £250 iirc? maybe closer to £300). I 4bet to £57. He tanks for ages and folds but he confessed to considering the 5b/call with K9s)

I wouldn't normally try so hard, but didn't have another opportunity I could wait for. I wasn't ready to surrender what I WANTED SO MUCH, that easily, I couldn't guarantee a call with me staying stoic and relying on a flinch "top pair" calling reflex.

Completely agree, and after the hand and thinking about it more I assume this is exactly what he was thinking....
I just expected he would be happier with AK preflop.
Remember kids, It's just ace high
Can you run us through your J7o bvb explosion vs Tight4better please?

Alex sits down and uses different sized shovels IP on each street with J7o on QAxK10

not as ludicrous as the notion that JB would chop profits with any inferior players

Something taken out of context without explanation or the correct comments that then takes days worth of explaining... not counting its a thought process discussed at 5am after 10 hours playing poker...

Alex sits down and uses different sized shovels IP on each street with J7o on QAxK10
pre - i had my reasons, would rather not say, play a lot with Nik
flop - OK to cbet I thought
turn - it went check check, defo standard give up from me
river - had nuts in position, so bet it. bet big because i get more money that way
take exception to the phrase "shovels". am experienced enough to be able to quickly pick up an amount of chips and know pretty accurately how much it is, it was ~pot)
