On a side note- easily my fave diary on blonde
Only because you live vicariously through me..
Im sure your UKIPT Brighton 32o hand vs a super nit on AQ2 doesn't get enough press..........
Also, Ty sir.

Ma, just take a second to read your posts . They will never eve ever fold jx of they fold ou hae te best hand.
Almost certainly correct, bitb after all....
Not sure what that means.
Difference is with my 32o hand and the sheer number of spew hands u have on here is I won't try and run maths to justify what was clearly a huge error of judgement on my part. Would I make that play again. With 32o? Certainly not. Will u with the aqo or the 42, probably.

I would imagine that Jack doesn't open 80 - 90% of the time in this spot, purely because you have a 14BB stack.
(If we feel that we always keep running into the upper part of people's ranges, it's probably because the bottom chunk of those ranges don't exist.)
This is correct
. Pre-antes, I'm just not going to raise-fold to your stack very much at all dude. Just cause I know that your short and you will think you can exploit my btn steal pretty wide I guess, but what I'm saying is with you in the SB my button raising range is going to be heavily capped. And (pre-antes) hugely weighted towards raise-snap.
Don't worry about it though man! Loadsa good stuff to take from the sesh. The KK speech against the 22 was a beaut! Always a pleasure

Definitely trying to make it happen less and less often. I am learning, just slower than many.
Big fan of yours tho George, UL on the Vegas gold hunt.. League table update of post Vegas old mate.
You know we'd have heard every detail if you guys shipped, so lets hear about the 'we didn't win all the gold, just some' trip.
(absolutely not a rub)
@ jack.. I guess ur right pre-antes.. At the time I thought different.
And thanks, I liked the KK vs 22 also...

I wouldn't normally try so hard, but didn't have another opportunity I could wait for. I wasn't ready to surrender what I WANTED SO MUCH, that easily, I couldn't guarantee a call with me staying stoic and relying on a flinch "top pair" calling reflex.

Won some chips off a horse of his and he's gone mental.. I've been nothing but polite and friendly to him and I actually like him, thought he was great when I've shared a table.
But i think he is bang out of line going into a staking thread and discussing my business and mentioning hands he knows nothing about. - not impressed.

funny part is its actually not.. I probably don't shove A2-A5 or K2-K5, Q2-8, J2-8 etc..
Wouldn't want dominated hands.. much rather jamming 45ss... or 34o.
Which is where the logic for 42o came in.
I'm not doubting its almost certainly flawed... but I wasn't worried about playing perfectly in the GP early doors after I've made a mistake that probably means I deserve to re-enter.
Does that make any kind of twisted sense?

No. Much better jamming a shit ace than 42 off.

yeah cos you have 30% equity vs all his pairs and are ahead of KQ etc... but I think its a bit of a brain spazz.
Like i said, at the time I figured he would be super wide and that shoving close to atc would be ok, obv got there so it must be a good play right?
Either way, its the GP so meh...
