I thought he meant that the strippers give you 100% of their attention whereas you (C) only give me 80%. Quite a good argument I thought, wish I'd thought of that one.
Zomg if its the other way round!
I have a terrible feeling that it was the other way round.

The best explanation I've come up with so far is that 'they' get 100% of my attention for a few minutes... but that she gets 80% of my attention 80% of the time...
Had to comment, please tell me you didn't actually say this?! Must be the nut worst thing you could have said IMO.
Keep posting.
Wow thanks, glad you can enjoy my pain and success. As I said a while back the posts keep me going, not good and bad. My pokerstrategy blog which is indentical to this one has hit a road bump and now is a bit stagnent due to lack of audience participation.

Obviously.. We've tried to bluff 44 off K46ss5s when we had As4.. We folded river when SHE donked 6k into 10k.
back to startig stack then.

Obviously meant the other way.
The stripper gets my 100% attention for 5minutes.. My girlfriend gets 80% attention for as long as she lives....
i dont get her attention 100%, she prefers food.........

Not really down with the kids but think the below means Mr Black is a goner:
"Moved to feature table.. HiJack 45hh A3Khh Ck, Cbet 725, c 10o ck, cbet 1.2x pot (2.5k), r7k, call 19k back 2o Allin from big stack, call QJo"
Hard lines John.

Confirmed.
The hand is in the staking thread.. but I'll C&P to here.
Well that was a quick stay at the feature table..
First hand in , look down at . Playing 27k ish.
Open, folds round to BB playing 50k or so. He calls.
FLOP (1050)
I cbet 725, call.
TURN (2500)
I cbet 2550 because I want to make the pot big enough for some big river value, expecting a raise rarely, however we have a LOT of good outs vs a turn raise range imo.
He raises (hmmmm) to 7k.
We dwell and think about it, I can never get a fold here and he's going to bet or call it all on my good rivers with his whole value range (don't expect bluffs here ever).
I call with 19k ish behind.
RIVER (16.5k)
Pretty good river as his Kxhh hands now miss and we only lose to one hand that makes sense - QJhh, which we expect flop checkraise from a decent % of time.
So when he sets me in, I take a dou le take of the board and my hand... Count in my head to make sure I dont look silly with 5high and go
,
,
,
,
...
That's a straight. Call.
WP sir, your QJo (no h) is good.
I dont know what to say atm, bit annoyed, embarrassed, frustrated, meh and need the toilet.
So off for a wee and sorry to all.

Think your exit hand is pretty spew I'm afraid John.
The turn overbet is really bad, only hands he might fold are weak Ax, even those you can't be sure with Nick. All other hands are either two pair, or pair+gutshot or straights, none of which he folds. So betting as a bluff its pretty bad since he folds rarely.
And we're not really betting for value.
When he raises the turn after your overbet, its QJ almost always. I'd go as far as to say 99% of the time. People don't c/raise overbets without the nuts. He never has two pair or Axhh, Kxhh.
Since he called flop QJhh is the most likely combo, which we're dead to, and if we call, we go broke on 10 rivers. The times he has QJo we're calling for 10outs so we need 4:1. We need to stack him everytime to breakeven.
This makes it clearly an unprofitable call on the turn.
The river is just vul as played.
Could see you were gutted to bust mate, hope you have a good run at the next one.

Discussed it with L'honore and TL900 and I think you guys are probably all right - mainly when you're all saying the same thing.
However at the time I knew that I 'knew' him, but not who or why. So I'm taking him as a 'random' guy somewhere north of 35yrs old and he has a LOT of chips. This isn't always going to mean he's terrible but it is tough to get good hands so I leaned toward him being bad on first impression.
During the hand my thought process went along the lines of
Pre
We have
which is clearly the nuts and I'm not going to not open it in HJ first hand, tv table or not.
Flop
We have flopped a big hand and he has just called, this is most of the time going to be weak Ax/ pair/ broadway type hands/ occassionally he could have a big hand 'trapping' here... (expected rarely)
Turn
I want to bet big because I don't expect him to call with any hand he will fold on the river and pot-ing will make him fold his marginal hands to ensure the previous statement is true. We obv don't expect a turn raise, but I thought a turn raising range could be the following: AK, K10, A10, 33, QJs and 50% of QJo (don't think he always calls QJ otf)
and vs that range we have 25% equity with a pot being 16k and we'll have 19k behind... When he makes it 7k i don't think its always QJ, in fact I didn't expect him to have QJ all that often, but obviously it ran through my head. As did the 'few' hands that crush us -
/
only imo.
My plan is to shut down on brick rivers but to make it 8-10k on good rivers if he cc turn.
River
Hit an out and get it all in.. we found an offsuit
to make us the 2nd nuts and now imo the only hands that make sense that we lose to are
and
but I think he has to cr flop some % of the time with
.
We called and was shown da nutz.
wp sir, gl in the rest of the tournament. (seriously)
