Ano ano, just tired of people putting the boot in on John for no real reason, not that you particularly were here.

I understand what you're saying. I'm not trying to put the boot in. It's just sometimes John makes some outlandish statements- guess that's why his diary is so brilliant.

Also- whilst on that note- massive respect to you John for grinding 10 and 25nl. I can understand why Pleno was a little annoyed at your not stepping back down but I think generally the way you grind 10nl is pretty sick.

thanks mate.. i dont care what level, I want to LEARN and DEVELOP and CRUSHHHH (think 2nl would be too much even for me)

And Live mtt's wise I mean over a 3-5year period and im talking <£120's.. I did keep a record of all buyins and all wins/ losses/ rebuys etc... I was winning at least at 100% roi but cash was obv where the 'big' money was in respect to playing a £30 and winning £700 or playing 200nl live and binking 1k.

you know what i mean?

yer, the 'brain to mouth to hand' filter thingy doesn't work on me like on others...

I am better with it these days but I still have the balls/ gall/ courage/ stupidity/ insanity to say what i think or feel at any time to anyone.

(once told my managers in a meeting with 50+ staff that I think my company 'promotes people into incompetency'... when asked to repeat myself... I absolutely did!)

loool <3 saying that in a meeting.

I deffo couldn't work for other people I would be fired instantly for pointing that sort of thing out.

Not as up to date with all the posts recently.

But re the not dropping down thing.

I'd personally rather my horsey was playing badly at the level agreed than playing well at a level above what we agreed. Trust is so important in a backing deal it's ridic.

amen brother
And to say pleno is too bust rubbing his money in his titties to send me any looks a bit bad John.

But you do know if you change then you lose 80% of the guys who read this. You are a unique character John and we love the way you are. Causing Patrick headaches is all part of the fun, as long as he sticks with you.

Just finished a decent length session and I'm pretty disappointed.

Played two sessions, and didn't play 100% in either, ended up a small winner overall.  But there are lots of big mistakes in there, couple that with some absolutely ridiculous hands and you have a session that I was ending on +$113 becomming +$35 in just 700 hands.  (second session, not overall)

There were periods were I was so proud of my 'last 1000 hands' and then there were periods where I wondered what was I really thinking.

A couple of times i ran into the top of someones range, and once i made a good bluff in a great spot and got called by a 3 high flush on a board.

lots of sigh, but i've got all week off so more sessions to restore faith in myself.  Just need to get that focus going 100%.  It's tough tho.

Here's a graph and I'll post the most interesting hands from the 4983 i played today, tomorrow sometime....

(before anyone gives me grief about the massive redline - most of it was river bets for VALUE that were uncalled)
