What does it mean?

Snapping your hand over I'd guess.

Yeah as has been mentioned in a few threads.. The information garnered from a few pots that you either wait to see or request to see doesn't outweigh the potential for seeming rude and awaiting the other person to turn their hand over.

So for example, I got into a pre flop all in pot vs Ed and I have AA, the current 'nuts' therefore I expose my hand.

For records, played 4.5 hours today and in for 400, out 871.

Ran so good at the start, and spent the rest of the session trying to give as little back the entire time.

Couldn't really make some good hands in the multiway big pots I found myself in.  Bricked a few big draws and didn't 'spew' once.

There would've been a fun pot vs Ed if id hit my gutshot/ K high FD as I planned to Cr my 'binks'.  Turned out he had the and it would've definitely gotten paid.

Had a good time with Mr Gascoine, the table seemed good throughout..

All that write up/analysis and not a word on my tweed/cardigan/plum trouser combo. Unbelievable.

I literally have no idea what to say about it. Im so impressed and taken aback by it i cannot express.

Looks very smart sir, unsure about the "does this look like a folding cardigan??"

But it was good criac and im still very intrigued about your job and what and how you do what you do.

Was in London today and played a bit at the Empire.  Shame I didn't try out the Hippodrome instead.  Although sounds like I wasn't dressed correctly anyway.

Never been to the Hippodrome, and as I was walking towards the Empire nearly diverted my route into the Hippodrome.

Next time...

Went to the hippo for our morning cup of tea and toast.. No one else is there.

So venture to Le Empire du Casino.

And who do we find? But a very smartly dressed Mr Ed.

Again, Brown shoes - polished.
Red / plumb trousers
Blue cardigan with white shirt and...
The tweed jacket.

He is an icon, this much is certain.

We flipped for position and I won.. So let the fun commence.

Have you booked some holiday time from work or when you have been abroad you are entitled to time off?

Have you booked some holiday time from work or when you have been abroad you are entitled to time off?

Bit of both..

Ed has just been completely owned.

So hard he's actually sore.

He min 3bt's in position vs a talky 'ladfish'.

Ladfish folds but Ed gets cold called by a 40something guy, hoody, weddingring and seems 'fresh' turns out he's probably a live pro.
hu to flop.

He checks back J38ccc and then says "shall we club check at the same time?"
Then bets the Q, 31>45ish

River
5o
Guy checks, Ed shoves and insta-snapped his £70

With the ever mighty two spades .

and wins.....

Cheesy

The look on Ed's face was beautiful.... Im almost sorry for posting this hh. Almost.

Unfortunately for Ed, I stacked him with JJ vs AcKs on AJ10cc

Hopefully his meeting went well and ill see him later.

In other news, that's pretty much the only hand I've been able to win today.  Had AA vs a whale who didn't flop equity so folded postflop.

And have a table full of fun guy, a 'portugese' (I think) wannabe who decided to take position on me but a worse seat at the table..
#glhero

And a Vic reg who I know.. He's a nit so that's ok.

Trying to make hands...

Im having fun with the guy to my direct left..

Currently 1-5 down but trying to make a second half comeback!
Its really hard to win when he makes straights and flushes all the time.  He definitely loves the game, and altho I've not called many of his bets, others have and he's just always got 'it'.
Cheesy

Topped up, so were now in for 800, with 510 in actual chips and about 350 in phantom 'Gbucks' chips.

Thinking about GPS Birmingham tomorrow.. Hmmm...

Decided to take a different tact vs the guy to my left..

Got the bazooka out.
[X] started winning pots.
Cheesy

Made a couple of hands vs other people, but yet to be paid multiple streets.

Think a guy folded tp.. Sad when I made a set, he bet pot on Q34dd

Same bet on 7/ call raise..

Check, tank fold to all in on A.

Put him under too much pressure I think.  Probably made a mistake.. Bet he hero's 1/2 his stack for £110

Hmmm....
