On this Maldanado bet, if we follow Peter's logic, should we be taking the top 6 finish?

He does seem fast round the circuit, so if he finishes in the points, he has a better chance of top 6 then expected.  To me it seems that one of Grosjean 5/2 and Maldanado 5/1 must be wrong anyway.  Just thinking out loud and obviously not a Maldanado fan.

FWIW Still some 1.95 on Betfair on the points finish for those who missed the evens.

Whilst here, many bookmakers are going 6 places on the BMW PGA.  With a 11/4 favourite, there has to be a bit more value than usual in the offer.  I have backed Willett and Dubuisson, but can just open this up for discussion.  Thread has issues with getting on with most of these 6 pace books, and there is quite a bit of cutting to compensate for 6 places around, so this isn't a case of you can't go wrong by having a bet.

I like Shane Lowery in this, 2nd last year, has also been in the top 10 in this event, seems to have improved this year, Think it's just a matter of time before he breaks through again. That being said his price is bang on BF so maybe the extra place with Laddies and Betway give a small bit extra? But I've had a play for top 5 at 10.0 with hills and top 10 at 5.0 with Hills which both beat BF by a small amount. I also like the 21.0 ew 1/4 top GB and Ireland. Just my thoughts, not a recommend unless others think it's worthwhile.

Brooks Koepka  failed to make the cut at Sawgrass (was tipped on golf thread) but only after an epic finishing effort following a disastrous start. He is 50/1 (6 places) at lads, which is nearly the same as betfair. Worth a £5 EW dart I reckon.

Monaco again

This is only a b365 market

http://www.oddschecker.com/motorsport/formula-one/monaco-grand-prix/qualifying-winning-margin

last three years the qualifying winning margins are

0.059, Rosberg over Hamilton (0.34 back to 3rd Ricciardo (rbr))

0.091, Rosberg over Hamilton (only 0.02 back to 3rd (vettel/rbr))

and, even thoughobviously anything beyond a couple of years ago is moot as the regulations are different,

0.080, Schumacher over Webber (0.06 back to 3rd)

reasons pretty clear...short tight circuit, margins are very fine. pole position crucial

i suspect ferrari might be quite close to mercedes all weekend as well, but even if we just take rosberg/hamilton...where here rosberg is a bit of a course specialist and this helps mitigate his slight disadvantage on one lap qualifying pace at most venues......

shouldn't under 0.15 seconds be odds on?

Russia got booed in the arena last year but this year got the biggest cheers of any act in last night's semi.

Do you understand how the voting system works aaron?

Lol. Say what now?

Bitten my tongue for long enough tbh. Aaron, stop embarrassing yourself. You are coming across on here as a know-nothing know-it-all. Sure you're a good guy in real life though.

First the third v fourth in the play-off semi and now you're the world's leading authority on Eurovision? Jeez.

If Harden & Curry keep this up, then this is going to be some series.

#fearthebeard

Pretty fucked off not to be 1-0 up after that effort.  Not as much between these teams as the price suggest.

Yeah, especially after getting 16 up, and still going in behind at halftime...

Should get a decent sweat, and hopefully not swept, though.

Dwight Howard was the key to the game.  If he didn't come out injured for Rockets they wouldn't have collapsed. GS will probably still win but they were never a 1/8 poke to win this series for me.

My 3rdv4th was a mistake, but embarrassing myself? Nah, not when you compare me to you, after trying to get money out of your "mate" eh?

There is no way t2 goes off 10/1 in the main event above.  Recommend £20 at 10/1 win only.

Didn't see that, is he the monster that can't shoot free throws, even though he can probably almost touch the basket?

Yes built like a shit house.  Incredible physique but just too muscle bound to have the soft touch required to shoot well.
