Yonex/Larry/Aspen etc banned.

He'll be back again, of course, under a new alias. But not his real name, obv.

Tikay wielding the ban-hammer, from the good old US of A Cheesy

Ha, Not Guilty M'Lord.

I just made it known that Mr Very Brave When Hiding Behind An Alias had been banned again.

I don't know who it is, but I guess from the tone they would be happy to post in their real name if allowed. I don't think they are brave behind an alias, but it is their only way to get on!!

we don't know who it is either, though can make an educated guess

if the person wanted to say "look its me i'm real name, can we start again, i've been a cock but i would like to contribute properly"

then we'd obviously look at it. people have been unbanned before, and we haven't banned anyone apart from the different versions of this account for a long time

creating multiple accounts at intervals of every few weeks and abusing various people (not just arbboy) each time the new accounts get through is a bit daft really.

Yes, for the record, his attacks were not limited to Argue, he is spreading his net wider now.

The internet is a very strange place.

I expect if he was trying to get on they wouldn't be a problem, but he seems to have chosen a different route to winning friends and influencing.

Again, from the tone, I don't think he expects to win friends, just score points.

Gotta love the keyboard warriors that are never seen. idiot

http://www.oddschecker.com/cricket/england-v-new-zealand/odis/top-england-batsman

Suggest £10 James Taylor England top batsmen Vs NZ. Every time I watch him he impresses me. Has a great temperament and seems to be able to change gears when the match situation dictates it.

He was clearly England's top one day batsman during the World Cup debacle and surely he will be returned to the No. 3 spot in the batting line up.

I am still scratching my head at how Ballance was preferred at 3 for the World Cup.

One for the nba fans out there to discuss.

Lebron james is obviously the greatest player on the planet.  As far as i am aware no player in my lifetime of watching the NBA finals (since 1991) has ever won the finals MVP on a losing team.  However Lebron is going to put up worldly numbers for the cavs now their best other two players are out for the season.  It is not unrealistic to think he could average a triple double for these finals and average 40 points + a game in the process.

My question is it just impossible for a player on the losing team to get the MVP?  We can get 5/1 Lebron for the mvp which isn't much shorter than the Cavs to win the title (if they win the title he is a million on to get the mvp obviously).  No one in history will have put up a series like Lebron is going to on a losing team so it is hard to know if a player can get the mvp on a losing team if it went to 7 games for example?

Just throwing it out there for discussion.

this is from a vegas book

"Prior to Game 2, Steph Curry was -600 to win NBA Finals MVP with LeBron James at +500. Now Curry is at -150, LeBron +175."

All, need some advice!

Just opened a Sporting Index account and have £100 to spend as a new member. The rules basically say that after 7 days, whatever I have made in profit is mine to keep. If I lose the entire £100, then nothing happens.

Please advise where you think I should place this, obviously needs to be a short term market.

Isn't this just a classic free bet?  i know you can make 200 bets, but should probably just stick to one at a decent price near Betfair.  By decent I mean 7/1 upwards.  I would go backing England to win the football or punting it on black (or red).

It's spreads (isn't it?), so Betfair isn't much help.

If the weather remains good then overs points for the Widnes v Wakefield rugby league at the weekend could be decent.
