soton faves away to west ham on 28th
seems strange to me
anyone else?

Yes it does seem strange, especially with news Payet will be back, and he would have had a game by then to dust off the cobwebs, with their solid defense it could be the impetus they need to start winning again.

Personally I wait closer to kick offs to make bets generally though, just for team news and also a lot can change from now until then, but likely not to dramatically. However, I wonder what most on here that come across these sort of spots do? Do the odds dramatically change often from now until kick off with other similar past examples? Basically what i am getting at is, is it value to wait on these or is it one of those how long is a piece of string scenarios?

Hey Ant, Unless you know which way a specific market is going to shift I would go with the piece of string scenario.  You may be correct 50% of the time and the other time you end up on the wrong end of it.  Having said that how can the saints be as short as 7/5 with no win in over five games.

Deal is off.  According to Watford it's because he wanted guaranteed starting place and Flores said no.

In the Big Bash this morning the Adelaide Strikers (ante-post joint 2nd favs to come bottom) beat defending champions and fancied side Perth Scorchers to start the season 2-0. This is another good result for our bet on Brisbane Heat to come bottom. Market is down at the moment but they were 13/8 to come bottom last night, will probably be a little bit shorter now after Adelaide's win. We're on at 9/2, so far so good. They travel to Hobart for the game tomorrow morning against the Hurricanes(8.10am start our time), Hurricanes were garbage last time out but are still 3/4 favs fior the match. Hopefully the home side can get the job done and we'll be in a good spot.

Good stuff Nelly, it's all going rather well so far from the looks of it.

Will watch it in the morning.

Thanks for the regular updates, it really helps.

No worries, hopefully we can get it over the line for a winner!

REMINDER

For those on Nelly's Big Bash Sweat (we want Brisbane Heat to lose) their next game is Live on Sky Sports at 8am this morning.

Ozil now just behind Mangala in the Assists Table.

Roll Eyes

I just discovered that Mangala cost £42M, similar price-tag to Ozil.

184 is good. Runs on the board. Think they left a few out there though. Pitch looks good and Heat batting is their strong suit. Hurricanes 4/11 in-running so can't be unhappy with that i guess!

184 after they got a bit bogged down mid innings. Was hoping for a few more.

Incredible, isn't it? He must be close to the worst buy in the premiership. Makes Soldado look value.
