Badbrokes doing a price boost on Chris Gayle today for WT20 final, 3/1 to top score for Windies.

Over his career he's won this market 17/47 times in T20I's. 1/4 this tourney (wasn't allowed to bat in 1 of the games). 6/14 in last couple of years.

They might not let you get much on, but whatever you can will be value. Last price matched on the machine was 3.6

As soon as I tuned in to ITV4 Bird drove into a pile of tyres.

My bokking skills seem to be approaching tikayesque proportions Sad

Yep, in the space of one lap; Buemi crashed into Frijns and Bird lost the lead to di Grassi. No good for our bets Sad

It's reminiscent of the TfT meet up a few years ago.

That took far longer than I intended, but here it is:

Real Madrid just tweeted this picture of their players celebrating their El Clasico win:

"Ronny, just try to look natural..."

The part of Cristiano Ronaldo is played by Ed Gascoigne

Tikay is playing Luka Modric.

JaffaCake is Sergio Ramos.

And, deliciously, Karabiner appears to be Gareth Bale.

Life goals unexpectedly achieved today:

1. 'Comparison' to Cristiano Ronaldo

Don't think Speedo man is Ronaldo - pretty sure it's Carlo Citrone.

Ha, you tease.

No idea. Do I know someone involved, perhaps?

No don't think so a man you have posted admiration of in the past...

No more teasing need to write up this Shrewsbury game. Going to be hard not to write about wigan.

Good grief, how lovely. Where has he been, why did he disappear?

The whole Dickinson family remind me of my early forays into punting on horses, going back to, I guess, 45 years. The Dickinsons ruled NH racing for some years, they had a Mullins type dominance, with Tony (Dad) & Monica (Mum) running the stable, & Michael (son) the jockey. Michael learned his craft as an apprentice with the GOAT, Vincent O'Brien. Michael then stopped riding & took over the licence, though Monica remained the force behind the scenes for a while.

In the '84 Cheltenham Gold Cup he had an astonishing first 5 home, 1-2-3-4-5, in fact I think only 6 finished iirc. One Boxing Day he sent out no less than 12 winners. I would have backed every one, as was my habit. And several other losers, no doubt. Gay Spartan & Silver Buck were probably my 2 favourite steeplechasers ever, though KYBO would not be far behind, ditto Tingle Creek & Analog's Daughter.

Gosh, you've started me off now.  Best stop.

Sorry no time for an all singing all dancing write up which is a shame as a lot going on

yesterday i took the £150 stoke top midlands club bet as a loser, their draw v swansea mean they cannot catch Leicester in their remaining six games

overall yesterday -£90

took richard johnson as a winner

aidan coleman as a loser

two losers at long beach

will pop some pics up in a minute for relevant bets, that progressed yesterday

spread bet woe in the championship

Leeds +3 points over Preston is a weekyl horror story of Preston continually winning and Leeds lurching from one drama to another

Charlton won yesterday. That is 3 points off the bill incoming
