Bet Question, hoping to pick the brains of those who understand odds setting better then me.

VC offered a bet on Thursday on the Europa League, 24 matches, 8 or more the home team to score first, odds 7/2.

I thought that was great odds, couldn't work out how they'd offer that ,was it a good bet?

Actual result btw, 7 home teams scored first - so good for the bookie on my sample of 1.

Nope
It lost

Just wow....

Anyone with a bit of thinking?

Just looking through the matches, it looks like a lot of away teams were stronger.

I'd say it still looks like a special that was intended to get new accounts which they expected to lose on.

Was there a max bet size?

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots

Nice little EW terms-abusing top scorer Yankee if we're still doing flckage?

Vardy at around 20-1
Grant at around 16-1
Jackson at around 16-1
Yates at around 16-1

Ha, we can dream.

Yes, if you can get a small interest bet on for us, that'd be great. But please don't risk your account on Fred's behalf.

Had a quick look and 365 are top 3 ew places, paddy are top 4, both 18/1 on vardy, don’t know about the rest but maybe that isn’t abusing the ew terms as chompy said

This. Baldy, Hills, Paddy, Sky are all still a quarter four spots on all four leagues, as are a few no-hopers.

No worries if placed though, just need Steptoe to crush a bit harder.

Didn't check bet size tbh, cheers though, thought it was a bit on the generous side. I'll check it next time.

Very odd that Media Guido are the only ones to publish the photos, even though all the mainstream media were said to be present.

I'm hoping, of course, that it's not what it seems.
