OK, in case I'm perceived as being a grumpy socks, as the third person singular of the verb to be is "is" and the third person plural is "are", more than one Mendis must be Mendare

I can confrim Tal is right.  I checked afterwards and concluded the same, penii would be incorrect too.

Yes, the logic is fine by me, but better, surely, just to say "no" than offer a paltry amount. Guess it is all based on a software programme which does not factor common-sense in.
