Yep. Did get that. Am I right in saying Pats win well and lose narrowly?

Agreed. Least likely result is a big rams win

Is this good for the bets, or bad?

I believe that bad weather is more likely to result in less points scored, so it affects various aspects of such games, but I don't think it affects Fred's stuff tonight.

bobby1 just sent me a text.

He thinks Dwyer First TD (Redskins @ Steelers) is very good value @ 9/1 with BetVictor.

Hats off to Atlanta, this is impressive in a strong wind. McCoy probably needs a big run or two to get there now.

Cowboys defense only gave up six points from drives not started by Dallas turnovers. Cowboys beat themselves, thread for lucky for a change

*Sigh* from the first TD drive. We couldn't quite get him in the end zone from the 1 yard line, they then faked a run and passed it on fourth down.

3-1-WAS1   (8:41) J.Dwyer left guard to WAS 1 for no gain (R.Jackson, R.Doughty).
4-1-WAS1   (8:02) B.Roethlisberger pass short right to L.Pope for 1 yard, TOUCHDOWN.

Thanks Rich. Will need the NFL lads to comment, I can't help really.

The NYGT line you mention - was that put up earlier, and I missed it? If so, will take a look, but again, I'll need help.

Apart from being an amazing finish I was sick for you when that Dallas TD was scored. What was pretty telling tho is when it went to review they didn't show the film on the stadium screens which is usually a tell tale sign that the decision is probably not going to go the way of the home team. What an incredible stadium that is tho Rich. Romo's figs look great but how many times can he give the game away and then look good trying to salvage the team from the mess he has put them in?

Garrett's teams have now lost 9 games they have had the lead in going into the last quarter, what on earth were they doing going for the end zone on 3rd and 1 and passing on 4th and 1 when they needed to keep moving the chains moving with just over a minute left.It was 2nd and 1 and they ended up throwing three incomplete passes.

It must be a real rollercoaster following them for as long as you have.

Daily Report as at 1150, Monday October 29th

We made a small profit yesterday, just £50. Any port in a storm.

6 bets completed, 2 won.

The Colts bet got home, (Kuku) for a £30 profit, & The Giants overcame Dallas (Tighty, £100), in a right rollercoaster of a game. Not sure if we got lucky or not, to be honest…..

Rich had suggested that rarest of beasts, a MAX, & he is normally pretty prudent & cautious, in the style of an Accountant, Actuary, or Librarian. My bottle went though, & I only stuck £100 on. During the game, I alternated between “thank the Lord I never MAXED” to “why did I not MAX?”

We were 23-0 up early, easy game. Shoulda bet more.

Then it went all pear-shaped. Glad I never bet more.

The Giants then edged a lead, & there were only 2 minutes left, easy game.

And then, it so nearly went terribly wrong.

And THEN that TD by Cowboys which, after an agonising wait, got struck off.

Loved the game, & wow @ that incredible Stadium! Did you ever see a more stunning stadia, or bigger TV Screen?

Bobby1 was there, too, jammy sod, & today he goes to the Book Depository & Grassy Knoll, doing his JFK Tour thing. Can anyone think of ANY 2 word expression, ever, more synonymous with a single event than “grassy knoll”? If anyone ever says “grassy knoll”, we all think of one thing, & one thing only. Don’t think I’ve ever seen the expression in any other context.
