Semi, term time I'm up at Teesside, despite studying at Durham (a second campus) in the holidays I'm in Doncaster.

Dean Saunders officially joins Wolves according to my Sister who is DRFC mad. Best of luck to him and Wolves.
"Brian Flynn and Rob Jones (our captain) will take charge of Doncaster whilst a replacement for Dean Saunders can be found." John Ryan announced on radio sheffield.

Can't imagine SOD coming back, he was treated extremely poorly at the end by the board, and had reportedly lost the players, but the squad is pretty different now so i guess a million would be a poor price to lay. Still v.unlikely as much as I'd like.

What's the difference between ping-pong and table-tennis?

What's the difference between ping-pong and table-tennis?

You can't use your own bats. The bats are sandpaper rather than the bobbly ones you get in table tennis so you get less spin. Also the ball is a slower, orange one.

In short, it makes for a much easier game to watch with longer rallies and less dramatic spin.

Reminds me of the Amarillo Slim stories where he played a ping pong champion on the condition Slim was allowed to bring the bats. He brought two skillets. Another time, with the mark having heard aboit the previous hustle and having been practicing with skillets, he bought two bottles of coke from the bar and said "there you go".

all the bats are basic ply and sandpaper as they were years ago. everyone uses same equipment, so less on spin etc  more on player skills

Thanks guys, I knew I'd heard somewhere that there was a difference.

Sometimes the obvious is just staring you in the face.

No more tiddle-arsing, £100 on Rylan to win CBB @ 7/4. Take your pick from Spoilsports, Baldfred, Sportingbet and VCDon'tbet.

I wouldn't want to lay odds against already. The opposition is weak at best.

^^^^

Booked, as specified.

Details to be confirmed in the morning.

We are on with Betfred.

I refuse to watch it though, I hope that is clearly understooded.

What do we prefer for the San Fran bet? Atlanta away or Seattle at home?

Clemons potentially a big injury but Seattle look strong. I think Seattle +3 is going to be very tasty next week.

Must admit don't normally partake of these bets but Fred reading has encouraged this weakness and I hate to admit I even watched the opening night of CBB. I feel dirty and ashamed.
I backed Toadie and sneaked a few points prof, which after this recommendation and seeing our Dancing on Ice pick drift to 26s after one week, leaves me cold about tv specials betting.

I shal stick to my dose of overs and unders, I feel far less violated.
