Here's another gem from that site, Ed Murray.....

http://www.prosofgambling.com/category/sports-gamblers/

This fella used to be all over the press but now haven't heard anything about him for a few years.  Always assumed he wasn't making anything like what he purported to be.  Generally I am a bit suspicious of so called professional punters that want their name plastered all over the press.  It is pretty -EV generally speaking for every bookie in the land to know about your approaches and, given he used to say he specialised in reality TV and novelty markets, then it it can't be a good thing to have bookies know which coups were you if you are using others to get on.

Castres 8 Ulster 6 H T

Interesting really

Fierce wind blowing down and across the pitch, and Castres have it second half. Kicking pens not easy

Yet Ulster are dominating the scrums

We have chances anyway

Relieving free-kick to Castres off scrum when ref had just given final penalty-try warning massive for us. Good chance now.

That's true. Penalty try certainly on the cards there

the 19yo Castres Prop is getting marmalised and trussed up up front

Really enjoying watching it.

The bet is in the balance, we are, as you say, a shade lucky not to have more points on the board.

I do love the respect those great big ugly players show to the Referee though. Footballers would do well to take heed, refs don't generally change their mind after giving a decision, & some chap shouting, swearing & gesticulating at me to tell me I'm wrong would have precisely the opposite effect to what he intends. Try explaining human psychology to a footballer though.

Better news from the Castres v Ulster thing, where the Unders cruised home, well done Tighty.

One down, one to go.

relegation bet...........

QPR drew, which on the face of it is a decent result, they clung on for the last 30 minutes

but an enormous win for Reading at Newcastle leaves QPR 4 points adrift at the bottom

Newcastle, replete with an 8 year manager contract, are right in the mix at the bottom now along with Villa and Wigan

Walsall won again...we can almost write that off

Suarez now has 15...5 to go to scoop a nice one there

Doncaster win and are joint top

A good day overall for the long term football bets

Suarez

One more towards 20 for TheChip Prince bet

A completely different Liverpool today, and what a difference having Sturridge up front with Suarez. Both Gerrard and Suarez excelled, and if they can maintain that level of performance against other (stronger) sides, then Suarez is going to get quite a few more goals this season.  16 in the league now.

Morning Mr T. The final round of Heineken Cup takes place today. In France there is a top of the table clash where Toulon, who are already through, travel to Montpellier who can join them if they win. Toulon are the better team and concede very few points, and coupled with the forecast rain this looks like being a very tight and cagey game. If not backing dodgy French teams away from home is one maxim then watching 2 Frenchies batter each other is another. If they had a market for a sending off I would be backing it.

Suggest £24 under 36.5 points @ 5/6 with Paddy Power.

Welcome back hector, you have been much missed.

Watching two Frenchie teams batter each other, oohhh......proper men though, none of this mamby-pamby football theatricals. Love it.

Hope we can get this one home, RU is one of our profitable sports, & this will be our 65th bet on RU.

We went for £25 @ Evens, Wm Hill, UNDER 36 points, Montpellier v Toulon.

ON

19 Jan 2013 - Montpellier v Toulon - Total Match Points

Under 36 @ EVS

Stake : £25.00

Estimated Returns : £50.00Transaction Reference:O/0457483/0000246/F

well done Hector

Rugby cake for you.
