ridgeway hawk started 8-1 and ran really well to get second
upper lambourn started 4-1 and plugged on for 5th
another example of not being able to eat value
.....and if I read between the lines of Keiths "edge" riddle this race proved it perfectly!
i am confused...

Afternoon Mr T.
Tomorrow morning sees another T20 cricket bash as the WI play Australia. My favourite T20 batsman, Shaun Marsh, is playing for Australia and as Watson is absent he should open the batting. He was immense during the recent KFC bashing series and he warmed up for this with a steady 40 in their recent 50 over match, after he had to steady the ship batting at 4. Most firms have priced him at 11/4 but Corals have him at 10/3.
Suggest £15 Marsh top Aussie batter @ 10/3 Corals.

I came at it from the perspecive of where my knowledge is yes. Two weakened sides, one I think I know isn't up for it much one I am not sure about
Getting 8-1 about the one, not the other though...

Whilst you were away, Keith (Camel) mentioned that he had spotted something at Southwell that may gain a betting edge. I think this was about the time (maybe 4 days or so ago) when he gave us a nice 5/1 winner there.
He specifically did not say what it was, & nobody asked, or not, at least, publically.
I knew you'd be intrigued, because I know you major on Southwell, & a lot of their Grade 6 stuff.

Blimey hector, your reputation must be spreading. Corals now go 11/4!
However, one or two still offer 3/1, so I've taken that, hope that is OK.
We have £15 @ 3/1, Wm Hill, Shaun Marsh, Top Australian Basher, v West Indies, tomorrow.
Thanks.

There is a horse for 3.10 Southwell around? Someone tipped it?
on Miss Fluer here at Lingfield which is a decent horse and half decent price regarding going at Lingfield. Although just this second gone off.
edit: found it

No worries, we have two more shortly, Gouray Girl & Nazreef, both of them EW, in the 15.15.
How can we possibly lose?

3.15 Southwell, Aaron.
We are on, for small money, Gouray Girl @ 25/1, & Nazreef @ 4/1, both EW.
You can get 33/1 Gouray at the mo, & 7/2 Nazreef.

Like the Lebron bet Teeks, the past month or so LBJ been on a tear, Durant has played fine but his team are winning so easily that he's getting to sit lots of 4th quarters and therefore his stats have suffered a bit. Looks like whoever's offering 7/4 has not reacted to that v quick....not sure I'd have him 7/4 even before that tbh, any one of two in two-horse race

Gouray can be had at 70/1 on Betty, or 12/1 to be placed.
The Market suggests we should not bother, but you never know.

Thanks Jeff.
Yeah, I noticed he sat a lot of 4ths......
The price - 7/4 - is still available, as of now anyway.

Just to clarify, we have 4 different horses, in 2 races, at Southwell this afternoon.
13.40:
Ridgeway Hawk £5 Win @ 18.05
Upper Lambourn £5 Win @ 12.67
15.15:
Gouray Girl £5 EW @ 25/1
Nazreef, £10 EW @ 4/1
Somewhat bizarre. No horses for ages then 2x2 at Southwell!
Fwiw Nazreef unbeaten on the surface(a few years since he ran on it tho), but was priced up on the SL tissue at 14-1. Gouray girl moved to a stable where the money normally a massive factor, and none so far.
Just to muddy waters further and old friend/enemy Docothebay, also has a rather intersting profile of 1 win and 1 second on the surface and very well in on even his modest form.
I backed Camels last night in a sleepy blur at 3am. I had waited for some market movement for all of horseys three, but the only one that has been backed hasnt shown any decent form since his days at Osbournes.
First race, I shall leave, and second may end up having some tiny banzai FC and TC, more in blind hope than any confidence, whilst cheering on Camel sel. GL
As suggested, but had more on Camels than mine. Forecast bumpred it up tho!
