Brag: I got a decent bet on.
Beat: VC don't mind me having a decent bet
Variance:  They haven't paid out yet.
Betting on averages on Darts matches are notorious for getting settled late and sometimes also wrong.

Anderson has been playing dross but he's only against Hamilton and has played already earlier in the evening, is he worth backing at evens?

Think I'll assume that question is not aimed in my direction......

Ha ha, sorry that was a bit of a hijack there but got some good responses.

Lol, not at all, I was just trying to be "dry", no hijack, keep it coming, that's what the thread is about.

I know you like the quirky bets so heres one I like tomorrow in ......... Aussie Rules!

Collingwood and Carlton are big rivals in AFL and they clash tomorrow in front of 90,000 at the MCG.
Carlton have started the season with 2 wins from 2 games but against mediocre opposition who won't finish in the top half of the ladder this year.
Collingwood have been the best team in the comp for the last 2 years, winning the Premiership in 2010 and losing the Grand Final last year however they lost in the 1st round of matches to Hawthorn who are many peoples favourites for the title this year. Collingwood were missing a few experienced players that day and played with a number of youngsters who won't be playing tomorrow.
Head to head Collingwood have won the last 5 against Carlton by an average of 40 points albeit Carlton are getting closer each time (54,53,48,28,19).
Collingwood should be favourites in my view tomorrow but you can get best price 21/20 with Bet365.

Recommend £50 Collingwood win @ 21/20 with Bet365, first bounce is 10.50am

FFS, "AFL", "first bounce", MCG, etc. What sport is this, Aussie Rugby League?

PS - On my way to take a look at prices & stuff.

Love the Keith bet of Swansea......can't go into too much detail as top why for reasons some of you know but Blackburn are most definitely not scrapping for their life.  Swansea are the better team and possibly even more motivated after 4 losses on the spin.  They should be 4/5 imo and I would not back Blackburn with counterfeit

He already told you that it was "Aussie Rules".
The AFL is the Australian Football League.
The MCG is the Melbourne Cricket Ground where the game is being played.

Gotcha.

Got 21/20 to £50 with BetVictor, thanks.

Can you post the result tomorrow, please? I'll be in the car all day, & I somehow doubt that Radio 5 will have a reporter there.

Ahh, I see. When he said "Aussie Rules", I thought it was a statement of fact, not a sport......

Don't suppose I dare ask what Aussie Rules is/are, & what a bounce off is?  We have tip offs in Basketball, bet you never knew that? Kimber taught me. He also said I don't know my arse from my elbow. And that was him defending me.

See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australian_rules_football

You know the old quote "Football is a gentleman's game played by hooligans, and rugby is a hooligans' game played by gentlemen"?

Well, Aussie Rules is a hooligan's game played by hooligans.

what a bounce off is?

In keeping with the Aussie tradition  each team has a Kangaroo as a mascot , there is also a trampoline pitchside, so instead of tossing a coin as they do in football for example, they see whos mascot can bounce the highest, tis good fun.

This is Aussie rules, complete with 'bounce'.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5_ysduGm98

I was surprised to see Spurs are favs against Chelsea in the FA cup semi. Spurs are in poor form and Chelsea have been very decent since Di Matteo came in.
I would recommend a smallish bet on Chelsea dnb @ 21/20 with William Hill.
I also quite like Everton against Pool (and personally I'll be backing both) but I think the Chelsea bet is better.
