Sounds like a plan except...Oaks is run the day before the Derby. Back you get Mothyyyyyy.
Mere detail.
Whilst I have no intention of 'greening out' as such, I must confess I have just placed a bet to recoup stake on Moth for the Oaks at 5/1. Think she goes off more like 3/1.

Your 'mere detail' reminds me of the expression
tittle tattle
.
The other way of saying 'dotting the I's and crossing the T's', as the
tittle
is the dot above an i and the
tattle
is the cross of a t.
One of those oddities of our language. Don't know why everything has to have a name!

Do you not think Hot Snap has been dismissed too quickly? It was always a possibility they were going to go too quick for her today, and she shaped like stayer in the Nell Gwynn. 20/1 gives me a lot of times to be wrong to each one time I am right.
Moth clearly ran well for one so inexperienced.
Are we going to hold back the "prolific" Nahki Wells in the play off final or wait for the top scorer markets next year?

Another oddity is that the two guineas races are invariably written without the comma.....
1000 Guineas
2000 Guineas
I had always thought there must be a reason for that, but extensive delving today suggests there is no reason, & it is just Media ignorance.
Heretoafterthuslyhenceforth it shall be 1,000 Guineas & 2,000 Guineas.
All clear on that?

It all got a little chaotic at Gascoigne Towers at the conclusion as just as it was time for the post race analysis Hels dropped the carrot cake she had been baking and guests arrived for afternoon tea....as such not really sure what was said - will tune in on Ch4+1!!

Afternoon
tea? Proper posh, you.
White tablecloth, freshly starched, napkins, sarnies cut into triangles, multi-storey cake stand, china tea pot, & a proper strainer?

Huddersfield have 20 minutes to overcome a 12-28 defecit, failing which the milkmen will not be coming today.

Raceform and Racing Post official style is 1000 and 2000. No comma. There's no 'd' in St Leger either, tilts me hard that one.

Tips for Tikay bash could be fun with Ed Gascoigne's posh tea and Hector's cakes.
Anyone know a good string quartet?

You're confusing me with the
actual
posh young one, Goulder.
When I said 'afternoon tea', 'Yorkshire Tea' would have been a more faithful description, but you can't fault a man for injecting a bit of colour into these things now, can you?

Ha, never have any idea what is said, every race has a background of "can I watch cbeebies?", "so unfair", "your always watching this". One minute you are taking afternoon tea, next you are swamped with ankle biters, slippery slope life is.

Re: Hot Snap, don't think Henry will run her in the Oaks tbh. Think she'll go wherever the ground isn't fast - she looks a typical Pivotal - and there'd be stamina doubts at Epsom if it's on the slow side.
Even though she's a half-sister to Midday, I don't think she'd stay. Wouldn't be surprised if he looks for something in France, maybe the Diane?

Wonder whether the comma isn't included so as not to confuse Johnny Foreigner, who uses the comma as a decimal point.
Maybe it is just because there's more flexibility if there are only four digits, rather than, say, six or seven.

Martin Tyler just won a bet.
Can only assume that's why he crowbarred the phrase "like kissing your sister" into his end of half summary.
