It's been a long time since I've posted a tip here, but just seen some incred value in the relegation from Championship prices.

Doncaster to be relegated from the championship is a HUGE 9/4 with Bet Victor, it's by far the biggest price & some prices 5/4, which was the biggest a few weeks ago.

Doncaster a team who've just been promoted from league one and they was only a penalty away from being being in the pay offs, instead brentford missed the penalty, Doncaster went up the pitch & they scored and won the league by a point. They was in the poorest league one for some while and just got up. They still haven't improved by much if at all signings wise so far and the gap is surely going to be the biggest it has been for a while, they like Yeovil, who I believe to not be much worse both need some significant improvement and with the FFP around its hardly perfect for a club their size or even Yeovil's for that matter. They don't have any standout players & their choice of new manager I believe is a bit of a joke, they appointed Paul Dickov who was sacked at Oldham, so no idea why they appointed him, although they did need to get rid of Flynn.

This is a season longer & its very early, but I can't believe the price, especially looking at the current situation.

We have to make the most out of these longer bets and therefore I suggest £100 @ 9/4.

Mohammed Azharullah was our hero last night

Quite a story this

He was born in the Punjab and went on to play domestic cricket in Pakistan.

In 2005 though he found himself out of the professional game

He travelled to England in search of work and got himself a gig as a Pro in the Lancashire Leagues, a pretty tough school!

He met an English girl, they had a son, and last year he got British citizenship

Ekeing out a living in the leagues he wrote to every county once he had eligibility (was never going to get a gig as an overseas player) and asked for a trial

Northants were the only ones to respond and he travelled down to Winter indoor nets

Reputedly 29 years old, there is no evidence of this as is sometimes the case with cricketers from Pakistani cricket and he is rumoured to be 35

Anyway, Northants liked what they saw and wanted to take him on, but they had no budget to do so

"No problem" said Azharullah "put me on the same pay as an Academy player for a year and I will show you what I can do"

They did, and now face the problem of how to keep him!

He is now the top wicket taker in this year's T20 and a superb death bowler. Yorkers, Slower balls, bouncers, the lot. Can't field, can't bat but he's the business

I'm a bit biased, as I had to do an interview with him which is how I know the above. To thank me for doing the interview (!) he gave me two tickets for a T20 game which I took my lad to. I am therefore biased :-)

Meanwhile, Simon Katich scored another 100 yesterday for Lancashire at Glamorgan

We have 20-1 about him being top LVCC Div 2 scorer (gherkin)

This could be another sweat

2013 England 1st class Most runs
Player           Inn Runs Best Average
CJL Rogers        19  959  214   59.93
MM Ali            18  953  250   68.07
JE Root           10  924  236   92.40
BP Nash           18  907  199*  60.46
J Allenby         17  879  138*  73.25
SM Katich         13  874  200   72.83

EC Joyce          14  855  204*  85.50
JWA Taylor        17  855  204*  57.00
MJ Lumb           16  849  221*  65.30
V Chopra          18  848  228*  49.88
SD Robson         17  813  215*  62.53
DKH Mitchell      21  791  156   46.52
SR Patel          16  788  256   49.25
MW Goodwin        15  785  194   60.38
EJH Eckersley     18  783  133*  55.92
RWT Key           18  780  180   45.88
APR Gidman        12  754  211   62.83

AW Gale           16  751  272   53.64

Those in bold are the second division batsmen

The disadvantage for Katich is that he bats 4 or 5 and therefore has his runs in 13 innings, doesn't always need to bat twice a match for a top side in the division compared to 16-18 for his nearest rivals

That said, within one big innings of being right in it against Moeen Ali, Brendon Nash, Jim Allenby of Worcs, Kent and Glamorgan respectively

Lovely story, and I much enjoyed his performance last night, quite a character.

Simply did not have time last week outlining why to back Sweden in the Euro women's championships at 9/2. Safe to say their group was a walk in the park and they now 2/1. No value anymore.

Our St Leger ante-post punt Telescope makes his comeback at Leicester this afternoon.

Re: Aaron's Doncaster bet, 9/4 is out of line but tieing up money for ten months at that price is pretty meh tbh. Unless you can get a chunk on and lay it back at around 2.7. Even then you're only nicking half a point over a long period.

Rumour England unchanged and Khawaja and Harris in for Cowan and Starc.

Don't worry, we have the rest of the field.

What do rumours know? Bresnan in.

England win the toss and bat. Is that an interesting choice? Would think there might be something in the first day for the seamers. England nearly regretted batting first last time.
