The end of that last match was a bit like watching women's tennis with all those legs going against the serve.

tikay one to consider for tommorow on the racing front i suggest £20 win at the available 14-1 tonight (bet365 bet victor) (there was some 18-1 earlier but only with one firm)

3.55 doncaster horse by horse guide

BOSS'S DESTINATION deserved top weight and in career best form however whilst is deserved of an 85 rating at southwell i am not sure about 85 on heavy turf ground. The one time faced genuine soft/heavy ground like tommorow finished last as favourite.
ROSEWIN one of many this trainer has improved but similar to the top weight has not really got much turf form which arrives at a low 80's rating, also has never faced heavy ground ina  long career either by choice or design (has however acted at southwell)
SECRET TUNE looks fairly handicapped based on a "jumpers for bumpers" win earlier in the year , however has never acted on ground this soft before in a long career (for a previous stable)
RUSSIAN GEORGE a decent all weather horse has not faced this ground for four years and has very little recent turf form jockey booking for stable only positive i could find.
SOHCAHTOA quirky sort but has not been with excellent stable for long, however they normally have them ready to go after a break so last run might have been the time, the very low win rate puts me off the horse for betting purposes.
BEDOUIN BAY another all weather horse who looks slightly outclassed here
LADY AMAKHALA the fancy/bet in here, has run best races second time out both racing seasons to date as a 2 year old finishing a neck second and last year winning easily. The other key to this horse is almost certainly the ground the win at ripon was on ground described as good to soft but it was nearer heavy. Since then the horse has looked slow over 12 furlongs and looked in desperate need of softer ground and a longer trip. The re appearance at catterick was very much a softly softly comeback ride and if the horse is going to win this season it could be tommorow.
GENERAL TING fairly handicapped but often looked very quirky on the flat for previous stable
DAMASCUS SYMPHONY Could be argued is also progressive big negative for me is the stable does not generally win with horses from a lay off and both seasons so far the horse has been an autumn performer.

The bet is the only potential improver in the field, the rest have all been there and done that (or not done it). The ground, trip and second run of season are all ideal and that is enough positives in a race like this. I make it a 15-2/8-1 shot.

Before I continue, do we have to read ALL of that to find out who the tip is?  Not that I'm so lazy I can't manage about ten lines of text.  OK I am that lazy.  It's late though I've got some cocoa on the go.

Completely agree with u Teeks, this thread, as Bobby said, should be where all the people who have interests in diff sports and bet on them regularly bring their real finds, the ones where the price sticks out as real value, mortgage jobs I called them earlier in the thread.

So back to my niche...NBA....it just so happens we have a lot of betting opportunites this week as the playoffs start saturday and the regular season finishes tonight. Lots of teams have their fates sealed, so whether resting stars for the playoffs, or giving kids a chance with nuthin to play for, there's bit swings in the team news and effort (remembering in a draft system u have more chance of getting a good player next year if u do worse this).

One to keep an eye on tonight is the LA Lakers at Sacremento. The Lakers are already set in the third seed in the west, the Kings are out of the picture. LA are set to drop their whole starting line-up to rest, but there's an exception. Kobe Bryant (star man, legend) needs to score 38 to take the scoring title this season. His nearest rival played his last game last night so he knows 38 wins it. Kobe is very single minded (selfish) and no doubt would love that title, if he has a chance he'll go for it. He kinda gets what he wants too, and the LA coach could well insert some other good players even if they don't start to help Kobe. One to just keep an eye on for now....I've backed LA at 9/5 with VC but it's pretty risky so not one of my mortgage jobs yet Smiley

Fwiw Kobe is apparently sitting tonight.

Yeh saw this and posted it earlier thanks red...so many starters sitting today in the NBA, might just back a load of outsiders...

That's your allocation of daftness for all of April gone Geordie, ok?

I can't post tonight, but I can read stuff, so keep the thread updated please.

Surely I'm allowed one more after Banzai night Tongue

Admittedly the only skill involved in that bet was I couldn't make my mind up on any of the games so thought **** it 4 draws, there's a chance.

But this next one is something I mentioned to you at DTD and there has been a fair lot amount of thought, however it involves an 8 month wait for a return.

There are 3 names that keep going round my head and just couldn't make my mind up. Until just a few days ago

Jessica Ennis almost certainly if injury free will be in a fight for gold in the heptathlon and if she wins its a near lock for BBCSPOTY......although I have a bad feeling Tatyana Chernova will pip her by 1-200 points..... available  6/1

Andy Murray if he binks a slam then he's in with a shout, but in an Olympic year I don't think he's good enough value at 9/1....maybe one for next year

Ben Ainslie after 3 consecutive Olympic Golds if he binks he would truly deserve the award, and even if Ennis wins gold providing he wins he should easily be placed top 3, so I recommend a "mid" sized E/W bet at 16/1 (E/W is 1/4 the odds top 3)

others who could be involved are Mo Farrah, Vicky Pendleton and Bradley Wiggins........hence the E/W bet

Long Wait, but I really fancy this binking
