Goal at Villa Park.

The toys remain in the perambulator for the time being, I'm afraid.

Stealing Doob's each way first goal scorer idea, i've done two for tonight, may be of interest to Fred:

Torres 9/2 and Dzeko 4/1 both paddy power.

To further this, Dzeko first goal scorer price on betfair is currently 4.4, and anytime of 1.93

Torres first on betfair 5.5 and anytime 2.12.

So basically you bet every price, bar the first for torres which is the same, although you don't pay comission so actually you're beating that too.  Hopefully im correct in all of that!

Edit: it's only top 5 for the each way on PP rather than 365, so obviously it's not technically anytime, i'm not sure how much this takes off in terms of equity though.

Thanks Sparra,

Was too late for me, but good luck.

Ali gets the lot, well played m8!

Thanks mate Smiley - no value pie for dinner now.  Had 2 horses today 7-1 into 3-1 (8th) and 11/4 into 6/5 (3rd) so it was looking likely to be value pie dinner, but that was a nice couple of minutes.

Haha, glad to hear it!

I'm eating Addictive Dream pie myself, £3k traded at 1.01 and beat Cheesy

If Swanson or Rowe score I'll be happy though.

Ouch, i think i've only had one horse that traded at 1.01 and got beat, i'l never forget it, sending some run good to the swanson and rowe anytime scorer crew.

Tal will be pleased to know that according to Paul Jewell 'Spurs are a very good outside bet for the league'

Cattermole has tried to hospitalise Tomlin in the Sunderland v Peterborough game, but thankfully he was able to continue.

Sure was. Lost some hope when Paolo got the chop, and even more when Fatty got taken off after 10mins and replaced by an unfit Joe Newell. Marv. Come on Tommy!

Not wanting to doubt Andy Walker but it was Sung-Yeung Ki who fouled Fatty, not Cattermole, and he wasn't able to carry on, he came off. Also, possession is 54%-46% and not as one-sided as made out.

The good ship Fred is heading for the rocks tonight, we have got everything wrong.

Never mind, Chompy will get us out of it, otherwise he goes in Tighty's Daily Report again.

Done at half-time. And Tommy going off injured now. Marv. Time to get a proper job.

Villa have made so many changes tonight. To be fair, they had two good chances before Spurs got their first, so it could have been rather different.

Doesn't make it a bad bet, Waz, anyway.

We also might find a way to mess this up still...

Does anybody know if Will hill will do their offer tomorrow at goodwood?  I think it's likely but I haven't really been following it.  Anyway as i'l be a work in a signal dead area i'l put this out there now - I think Grandeur is probably a good thing in the 3:40, I don't think it's much of a value price currently though, it's a 15/8 favourite and i don't think that price can shorten a huge amount.  However with the concession of the will hill free bet if 2nd and currently 7/4 i'd personally back it with the offer, however as usual someone with more authority should probably back that up.

Also Travis Bickle in the 1st at goodwood, I think fred backed it before on one of these free bet offers on it's last race where it came second and finished very strongly. That was over 6f, after trying it first at 5f (where it came second again), tomorrow it runs over 7f and the extra furlong looked, to my untrained eye to be ideal for it.  No prices yet, tissue price of 5/1, i have no idea about the others as it's a maiden and half the others are unraced.  Retains Hughes as the jockey which is a positive imo.  Could be worth a bet, not really sure how to work out these races where half of them have no form.
