Really is totally pathetic of the Blackburns to be chanting "KEAN OUT" during a must win game, where you'd think the whole ground would be united on beating the opponent
Utterly disgraceful.
Sure is, they got what they deserved tonight.Must win Home match and they can't get behind their Team when they need them most.
Crazy stuff.
If they go down and get rid of the Venkys, long term they will be in far better state than if they stayed up this season.
Without or without him they will struggle to get back up in the next 4 or 5 Years, their support will be lucky to get an average of 20k next season even if they get their wish.Their's a time and place for demonstrations against the Board/Manager and during the game at 0-0 wasn't it.

Especially the guy who runs on to the pitch at the end of the last home game of the season to throw his season ticket book at Kean.  Not much of a gesture if you've sat and watched all 19 games before you throw it away.

Steve Kean wouldn't leave the pitch, what an incredible HERO. Such dignity in the face of the clueless support from a non-club going back where they belong.

Can't agree more. A significant number of football fans are totally deluded. Seem to think it's a god given right to stay in the top flight.

They should thank their lucky stars they have been in the top flight as long as they have.

Same goes for teams like Bolton.

Punching above their weight for years, it doesn't go on forever.

What kind of fuckery is this?

Dave Whelan stuck with his manager because he is as tight as a clam. Contemplating compo payments would have sent him weak at the knees.

As for Blackburn, were the owners even there tonight?

Utterly disgraceful.

If the players and management cared for Blackburn Rovers as much as the fans, they probably wouldn't be going down.

Most of those players didn't try an inch.

agree with this

a distinct lack of effort on the pitch which im afraid comes from the management, kean may well be a nice guy but his little or no pedigree to suggest he should be managing a premier league club.

The fans didn't cover themselves in glory at times but it has been plainly obvious all season that Kean was going to take them down yet Venkys took no action. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

What was the business with him "allegedly" sneaking about behind Big Sam's back and supposedly getting him and Neil McDonald sacked when the loopy new guys took control? Was there anything in that? Can't recall all the details.  Some will be saying Kean is getting what he deserves.

This is why many Blackburn fans dislike Kean. And if half of what is rumoured is true then deservedly so. He's also pants at his job which doesn't help.

Football and religion.  The two things guaranteed to make otherwise rational people do irrational things.  All of that genuine hatred from Blackburn fans for a man they've never met, all because he couldn't keep their football team in the highest division.  How long ago was it Fabrice Muama's health had fans tweeting about how important it was to keep football in perspective? Couple of weeks that last perspective lasted and we're back now with a fella pelting his team's manager with a used season ticket book and phlegm.

lol if the owners had just kept Allardyce in charge they would be 13th-14th right now. Then again the fans would probably still be moaning about another boring season, the brand of football is boring, the club is going nowhere, zzzzz.

haha, remember when they were linked with Raul and Beckham when the owners came in.

Daily Summary as @ 06.45, Tuesday May 8th

One bet, one win, £93 75 profit on the day - happy! Great feeling to report a days profit after a few down days. Now we have to dig in & try & turn the month round.

Wigan were our winners, & once again, the Wigan specialist Dazzler picked them. Best not to do the woulda-coulda thing, but if we had backed every Dazzy tip.......

We also placed two football bets, (1 x £50, 1 x £100)  for this Saturday - Lucky Jim gave us Norwich, & horsey weighed in with Zarabloodygoza, which would appear to be in Spain.

What's coming up?

Nothing much at all this week, or today, just those two football bets for Saturday.

Liverpool play Chelsea @ Anfield tonight, looks a trappy affair, but maybe we'll find a sub-market with value.

We were (pleasingly) invaded by the F1 boys a few weeks back, so we might welcome them back this week, with the Spanish GP this weekend. We need to do better than we did last time though, where we pretty much called everything dead wrong, & we can't afford to burn money right now.

I was very nervous watching that Wigan game. I was deep. Balls deep.
