Awful game and awful commentary on itv4.
"A game Sherrif fans won't forget in a while, been a fantastic day"
What? A crap game & commentator making out they are play Man Utd, they are playing Spurs! Hardly a big club.
Mercifully, I was in the gym for the duration of the game. All my sweats were in the correct places and I didn't have to worry about the prospect of the mighty ITV4 commentary school.
Aaron, you seem to have found the way to find favour in this thread. You can stick up as many "I fancy this football outright..." bets as you like, as long as you slag off the LilyWhites
Just a motherflipping popularity contest with you kids.
The important thing is we get to play this "spurs are rubbish but let's all make some money when they win" game again in the knockout phase. Should be interesting when we play The Woolwich in the last eight.
I am sure most of the people here would bet on Nick Griffin if we could prove it was +EV.
Spurs were OK tonight, but lets face it, they aren't Arsenal.

Suggestion for the Free Bet - one of Scott's dogs for the overall in the Olympian? I have read a few articles by him through seeing links on here and feel the bets are often well thought out and researched. Should provide a good sweat and possible return and may even create a trading position.
Thank you sir, that is much appreciated.
EDIT: And hope you got on. Jaytee Lightning might go favourite when the prices are back up.

quick question
Mccoy needs 16 more winners for 4000
would you back him to get there in the next 10 days (all have jumps meetings) at 5/6?
Lads have the market
My first thought is 5/6 seems a good price but i am struggling to quantify it in my head?
Alternatively you can back he does not get there by the 3rd (including the 3rd) at 5/6

so 1.6 winners a day just gets him home in time for the bet

just throwing this out there btw
the last 10 days he has had 40 rides (including a day he went to limerick for 3 rides)
the more i look at this and based on him having 40ish rides again in the next 10 day period i am liking the not!

if he was to have 40 rides in the period for the bet his odds of riding 16 winners would surely be higher than 5/6?
Of course he could have a few more rides in this 10 day period than the one just passed but he will not be in any hurry i would imagine?

I can't begin to quantify the perceived value, but my instincts don't like it. No real logic to that though. You'd have to price in some sort of discount for possible injury, too. He might want to stage-manage his 4,000th for a particular, or big, Meeting, too.
Interestingly (I just checked), Laddies would allow me to bet £240 on this market.

Will take that he doesn't in a match bet if you want it horsey? Lot of winners in a week and a half that.

I would quite fancy betting that (NOT to get there), for a sensible sum, be an interesting & novel sweat, too, anti-railing him in every race!
My problem, like yours I suspect, is that I have no idea how to gauge whether we get value @ 5/6. I suspect we probably do, but I can't begin to quantify it.

PS to that McCoy discussion - it looks like Ladbrokes have removed the Market. I mean, if it were still there, I'd be able to find it, right?
It was there last night.

He has ridden some inspired rides over the last couple of weeks but in last 14 days ridden 13 winners.
You have to be all over the no. Pretty much a max.
