WH going 3/1 Bobsworth in 2:55 Leop tomorrow from 8:30. Any good?

I wouldn't be getting up for it Cheesy

Lol

Meh,  haven't got any choice.

Obv bet with the mobile free bet if 2nd on top.  Seems a big price regardless.

Thread should do £25 that after 8.30 on Hills mobile, together with
Kentucky Hyden 2.00 Chepstow at 2/1 and
Oscar Rock 1.45 Newbury at 5/2.

Chatting with a perfectly amiable fellow at my starting table of this evening's 'let's see if we can win something' poker comp. We discuss the darts that's on the telly and he tells me he makes a few quid punting on sports. He then proceeds to tell me after a little natter back and forth that he has a certain tip for tomorrow's horses. "It's definitely going to win"

I'm waiting for the streamers and balloons because I believe that is the one millionth time I've heard that expression.

Nevertheless, this might be "the one", so I invite further discussion.

Chappie can't remember the name of the horse.

Or the race.

This is going to take some exploration, but I enjoy the thrill of the chase and it's not like I play any hands. Racing post app open, I whittle down the meeting with him. I'm hoping for somewhere random, but we are going with Chepstow. Ok. Plenty of smaller races there, I suppose.

"It starts with a V", he helpfully proffers, before adding "It's about 14/1"

Eventually, we get there: Vintage Star. That'll be in the Welsh National, then.

We will have to wait for a million and one, I guess...

Hendo horses running a bit hit and miss.

Thankfully the Forum PM coup found the right one today( aftertiming.....couldn't resist, Wink), but the more you look at the race, SDC took a pearler LTO, First L ran a shocking race against far worse than these, and Unioniste about 30lbs wrong with BW along with the rest, 3-1 may look mighty fine this time tomorrow.

Afternoon Mr T.

I think Wasps are a decent bet to beat the handicap of -1 against Newcastle tonight, mainly because Newcastle are scoring so few points. It will be grim up there in the rain and there are very low quotes for points, and no try scorer markets. I expect Wasps to win 15-6 or 22-6 if they manage a try in the heavy conditions.

Suggest £22 Wasps -1 handicap @ 10/11 with Ladbrokes.

I am happy to do daily reports for the weekend unless there are any other pressed men volunteers.

WINNERRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Well done again hector.

Might get a mention in the Daily Report tomorrow.

Rec £300 win, 14/1 general.

What a match that was between Peter Wright and Michael Smith. What price we think they're gonna put Smith in for next year's? Bit of 50s mebs?

Couldn't Smith be another Kirk Shepherd?

No. Shepherd was useless and somehow made a world final with a low 80s ave. Smith is more MVG than Shepherd. Loads of talent an had only ever produced in flashes before this tournament. Should kick on from here.

Darts Update

We doubled the number of 100+ averages tonight after Snakebite had a 105 ave in beating Michael Smith in a sensational game. That gives the 100+ ave bet some hope as on that form it won't be his last 100+ ave of the tournament. We have chances tomorrow with MVG, Lewis and Anderson.

Unreal that Smith wasn't over 100, and hopefully he'll get told to stop throwing darts away.

If they spent as much time working out decent books as they do studying their results on Google alerts they'd be half decent bookmakers.

Good. We like open tournaments with good quality darts. Would think Taylor will finish his contract (2-3 years?) and then perhaps move aside gracefully.

Huddersfield v Yeovil on 29th.

Huddersfield not doing bad at the moment & stopped derby in their tracks on Boxing Day, whilst Yeovil are again struggling, hammered 3-0 by Bournemouth.

Huddersfield 20/23 with victor, suggest £34.50 for simplicity when it wins Wink

Thanks Aaron, will have a look tonight.

Would appreciate feedback from others on this, as the price looks about right to me. Remember, we are looking for exceptional value, prices ool, or some info that is not in the price.

The prices are here......

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/championship/huddersfield-v-yeovil/winner

We've missed the 20/23 bet anyway, but I still think 5/6 is a bet for £30.

Huddersfield look like a very good team & underrated by the bookies, whilst Yeovil are just looking like Yeovil at the minute, be very surprised if Yeovil won this! I don't think 5/6 will be around come Sunday either.

edit - then again, 5/6 isn't value really at the moment.... so can see why it will get rebuffed now! Cheesy
