Man United later on 365 are 4/5 at home. I know theyve had problems at home but surely this is a good price?

Hi samj, long time no see on blonde.

Are you the chap that used to post a lot on the NBA thread?

Anyway, welcome to Fred.

As to Man U, you can get 5/6, which is slightly better, in a few spots.

I think they'll win, & I felt they'd be a bit shorter than that, but these prices are rarely out by much, imo.

They are playing the league whipping boys tho, and the whipping boys are without our favourite prolific goal scorer defensive midfielder.

Yawn...

Of equal relevance is RvP out and Rooney of questionable fitness, plus spurs are seemingly only any good away.

I wouldn't put anyone off 5/6 United but I'd be amazed if the prices for this game were that out of line.

Don't think there is likely to be any value there either. Don't think Spurs are massively overrated and Man U just aren't any better than that.  Sure PP have their refund if a draw offer on, so probably FGS is the way forward.

Can I suggest a bet on Millwall at home to Leicester please, at 18/5 BetVictor?

I've no idea really if Millwall minus recently sacked manager Lomas are good enough to justify a touch here but I do know I don't like the Leicester team changes

Having won 7 points out of 9 Pearson has rotated changing both full backs, both central midfielders and, enforced by Vardy's suspension, up front too

That leaves my least favourite fill in right back Wasilewski in the team (ref, Kolarov bet) in poor conditions. Also a part time left back, Miquel on loan from Arsenal is a centre back and not a left back in these conditions in my opinion

Wasilewski was at right back during our bad run early Dec.

In centre midfield Drinkwater and James are rested.

In some ways the rotation is forced by three games in six days, but I don't think our squad depth is anything like as strong as is perceived, and this team line up is not an odds-on shot for a tough away game in dreadful weather

The alternative, should you want to have the draw onside too, is to lay Leicester at 1.89

Wellbeck not prolific enough?  Soldado the same, and he isn't getting any penalties at Old Trafford?  Leaves Defoe, Rooney or RVP.  Think we need to be waiting for late team news before kick off.

What sort of a 'tip' is betting on last years Prembore Champions at odds on?

If you're gonna punt, bet on something with a bit of a return!

Loofah's Long 'uns;

Hull 9/1
Doncaster 8/1

Loofah's Good 'uns;

Sheff Utd 11/5
Chompyboro 2/1
Wigan 5/2
Watford Evs

Been waiting patiently for the teams to be announced at the Stadium of Light.

And the news is exactly as I hoped.

The two clowns who looked like the worst players in the Premier League against Cardiff: Diakite and Roberge, start for the Mackems, while Benteke has been passed fit for Villa.

The price has moved slightly on this news, but not enough IMO.

Suggest £30 on Aston Villa @ 14/5

even bigger news for me is Ron Vlaar is back for Villa

doesnt look like much of a player but they are miles better with him leading the defence

Bollocks, lets go for a NY Day touch.

Up the suggestion to £50

Everton playing  Stones and Alcaraz at centre back

never played together before away to Stoke interesting debut games

Thought Alcaraz was ok at Wigan but presumably a bit rusty, Stones highly rated

I like this bet too.

Villa are rudderless without Vlar and toothless without Benteke.

Villa are also much more effective away from home.
