re the aus open offer
a good friend of mine has been hitting this offer in the first round by backing both sides (through 2 accounts obviously)
he is a very good judge and a maths man really and has suggested to me tonight he makes the edge about 4%-6% with the offer refund,
he is only backing in matches that are the tightest match ups
fwiw he had 3 out of 7 refunds triggered yesterday/last night (sample size) but he seems to be very happy the offer is a no brainer

Meh, is it not this sort of behaviour that gets the bookis to close accounts of regular punters who work hard to develop an edge? On the back of Joe's conversation with McBookie/VC on Saturday I took the issue up with a big affilliate of McBookie's who has always looked after me and he went right to the top and was given this as a response: You say mug I say genuine and regular. Sharp money doesn’t normally fall into them categoriesI'm all for pushing advantages but I don't see how we can bemoan the industry when this sort of stuff is going on. It can't all be take, take, take. You have to give action to get it. Its a bit like poker you can't sit and only open with JJ+ and 3bet with AA otherwise you will never get any action. |

PP seem to be about 108% in these matches - so betting 10 matches both players would cost 108 to return 100 and you should get 2 refunds which should be worth say 11, so obv an edge as 108 bet 111 returned - but not huge and major chance of shutdown for bonus abuse.
Think I'd prefer to stick to the better prices for a bigger edge and less chance of closure.

Wednesday "-1" is best 13/10 with Boyles, however Unibet offering a huge 12/5.
