My point was about keeping account a bit less screwed not offers. They hardly constitute dirty ew at all, however bit of a degen spin

I am on Eds fancy as well Broadway, purely based on fact he's quite a shrewd judge - cough cough.  I am also on Felix as well, based on its form being significantly better the better the going and if it reproduces earlier runs in season I think could be a good thing.  I haven't put up here as "just my fancies" - however I would second Tightys recommendation at 4/1

Sorry Shaun, I'm doing my best, but I can't decipher that.

What is "Ed's" fancy? He has not Posted on Fred for a goodly while, that I recall.

What is "Broadway"

Whst is "Tighty's recommendation"? He makes 4 or 5 every day.

Felix Younger? I agree, it looks a great price, but I've not got round to it yet. Has a specific Recommend, & Bet Size, been made? If so, I'll get on.

What are the times of the races for all these?

Put a couple forward please? (other peoples stuff I notice)

Felix Yonger. On twitter tikay's mate Boycie quotes Mullins as saying "twice the horse on good ground than soft"

Broadway buffalo in the Pertemps e/w. edgascoigne who doesn't post enough or tip nearly enough was putting this up as his plot last night

Felix Yonger the 1.30

Broadway Buffalo the 2.05 e/w

note a good friend of TfT likes Felix too.

Going to put a decent sized accumulater on today, possibly 9-10 horses ew.  Anyone have any advice for decent runners likely to win / place (looking for a few good shouts with longer odds too)?  Any advice appreciated and GL today!

Punterz gonna punt, but if noone else wants a hand in this, I will happily hang myself  Grin

Don't do it!

This is like calling all-in with 9-3. It usually ends badly.

Tighty, is Melbourne a particularly problematic circuit for the drivers? Street circuit and run in the evening, when the track temperature isn't too bad.

Or is history a poor indicator this season, with so many changes?

History is a poor indicator this season - reliability virtually became a non-issue last year due to consistent rules year on year.  From pre-season testing this time around some teams haven't even managed a race distance yet without technical problems (eg Red Bull).

To put it in perspective spin think that 13 of the 22 cars will make it home.  Lotus are far more likely than other teams to go "pop" imo

Right, handicap plot post of the year. Broadway Buffalo for the Pipes tomorrow in the Pertemps (14:05 Cheltenham).

Was a respected entry in last year's Albert Bartlett from memory and appears to have been given a 'gentle' time of it in qualifying for this.

25/1 with any of the books offering 1/4 odds 5 places might look big come race time...

A friend of mine is going down to Cheltenham today with the owners of this horse, and I now remember him mentioning this horse to me last week.

Won 5 on the spin, and then a year of nothing was what he said, so thanks for the reminder Cheesy

Thanks for replying Neil. Sort of supports my point, if not my support of Big bucks. Good luck today with the couple you're on - I understand you hit proverbial posts galore with your picks and still Had a couple of good priced winners  despite some
Very unlucky fallers

Claypole and Neil have a point here.  Was playing poker last night and got the usual early morning thanks to the kids so not much time.

Given the doubts on the front 2, something like Zarkandar e/w is a must bet.  Poor thing been running in to the best hurdler in training all season, so had been looking worse than he is.  He loves the spring too.

Suggest 25 e/w at 16/1 BMU.  Think this is a really good bet, maybe we should go more.

Thanks Doobs.

Pretty sure the front two are too short, so there must be some value somewhere.

We have taken £25 EW @ 16/1, (qtr, 1,2,3) Zarkander, with BMU, Doobs.

 15:20ZARKANDAR (EW)(Horse Racing Outright - Race)Odds: 16/1 Stake: 50.00Possible Return:  550.00

BET PLACED

I missed that subsequent (enboldened) Edit.

No idea who the "good friend of Fred" is, but as I already suggested, we'll get on shortly.

It wasn't on thread, i was just pointing it out as a very useful nugget of info from someone we respect

Ha - it is an interesting question though - what happens if 8 cars finish.  Do 9th/10th points go to last man standing of the rest?

last completed lap they did...

so if x does 37 laps y 38 laps and z 40 laps and they are 8 finishers 9th goes to z and 10th to y
