Tikay,
I'm pretty sure we need to back out on Betfair and arbboy and Doobs seem to agree.
Back £53 at 11.5 0-0 please. No additional funds needed. Break even at Betfair.
Let me know when you have done it and I will post the Coral 14/1 on another forum which will ensure your Betfair bet is taken

Sorted your coral problem for you now they have gone 17/2 for no goalscorer now. So you should be able to see if they are going to claim palp or honour the bet now.
I asked for £500 on a restricted account they come back and offered £15. I then asked for £5000 at 14/1 and they declined me totally but still held the 14/1. Then i asked for another £500 at 14/1 and it was declined. They finally realised the price was wrong and went 17/2 after 4 bet requests were all declined.

ffs.
the flaw in your thinking is expecting the boss to check if its a palp or not. we went three weeks waiting for him to enquire about a london marathon refund and a wm hill free bet before i wrote both off

now a kind and helpful punter has had the 14/1 removed, do you still want this placing?

They have got over a day now to let you know that your bet is cancelled or not. Therefore anyone on at 14/1 will have a day to decide whether to lay the bet as an arb or roll with it.

Not quite sure why you would do that? Just to make them shorten it? If so why do it so far from kick off?
I can't really see 14/1 being a palp when 11/1 was available with DonttakebetsFred today and at least two other firms have been 12/1.

If they are offering 17/2 0-0 they will claim palp on the 14/1 no goalscorer if it wins after the event or just pocket your cash when it loses. you will either be on at 17/2 if you bet wins or your bet loses. As it stands now you will probably still be honoured at 14/1 now or if you are not then you have a day to find out if you have got 14/1 or the 'correct' 17/2 and then have the option to cancel your bet rather than be stuck with a bet at 17/2 on 0-0 if it wins which is the most likely outcome.
Just as the same way as if you have a bet in a shop with these scum firms after the off time they will freeroll you if it wins they will say 'sorry your bet is void as it was after the off' but if it loses it gets voided and goes into the xmas drinks box for the staff without you ever knowing it was a void bet effectively.

so, for idiots watching (me)
we can cash out the £53.5 lay at 11.5 on betfair right now and be exactly neutral.
we should do this, or wait for an email?
if no email comes we can ride with what was intended - £60 at 14-1 0-0 offset by £556.50 of lay
if the email comes we cancel, and close off the lay if we can?

I vote for £53 at 11.5 back at Betfair. This is still not a risk Fred wants to take.
Then either punt the £50 at 14/1 with Coral or I am very happy to take it.

Just got back online, and missed all the fun.
No e-mail received yet from them, though I received one from asianbabes.com
Personally, I think Fred should keep the £50 at 14/1. Whatever way it is viewed, it is a real piece of value.

there have been 4 sixes so far in this game, is it too simplistic to say we want 6 or 7 here? And a decent chasing target set somewhere around 160 or 170?
