Nadal 6-3, 6-2. 6-1

Nadal excellent.  Not remotely competitive though - felt embarrassed for Murray.

SPAM ALERT.....

I may have gotten my days & times mixed up, but I'm pretty sure there is a World Cup Betting Preview on Sky Poker Channel 861 this evening. Just World Cup football betting, no pokery stuff at all, if I heard right.

The three pundits will be.....

Sean Boyce

Tony Cascarino

Neil Channing

Ch 861, or if you so desire, you can watch it on I-Phone or I-pad.

I can confirm we had fun. Three hours all recorded yesterday afternoon.

 Like having a job.

3 hours you say?

Just the one sentence from Lord Grumpy then, one can quite reasonably assume.

Over/Under on how many times "Betting Emporium" got mentioned? I'm setting the line @ 7.

I managed to put up a non-emotional bet Tighty....that was majorly impressive, more than I thought it would be and looked winner from 4f out.

Luckily I had a treble with Thistle Bird and the Argies as well; nice sweat now and a winning day.

The Coronation Cup tomorrow looks an excellent each way race.   There is probably a danger of compromising accounts if you bet in it though.   Maybe we'll get away with it, because it us such a big race.  Even with fifth first 3 is going to be so good with 8 runners.  Maybe one will pull out saving us from ourselves.  News of this race is sure to be met by trepidation in The Bandit household.  Emergency order for new shoes incoming.  Any thoughts?

Think the Derby should be fine as betting each way in that race isn't going to be so suspicious, and is almost standard.  Closing all each way bettors in the Derby isn't going to be great business.  Wouldn't put it past Ladbrokes then.

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots

Morning John,

Jut trying to catch up here, & noticed your 50/1 on Gary Mc for the Leeds job - generally 5/2 now!

Andrew Cooper, clerk of the course: "The forecast is for dry weather to 1am. From then on there is a 12-hour period when we could see rain."

Tweets from the Epsom Clerk
