Seen an interesting bet again grand prix related.

Theres a market on victor chandler called hattrick. Presume this exists elsewhere.

Basically you can get a price for someone to:

A - Get pole
B - Win Race
C - Get fastest lap.

Obviously we can only bet on vettel because the pole part is decided.

Vettel likes to collect honours such as fastest lap etc, id imagine if we was leading on the last lap of the race hell set the fastest lap. (hes done this many times before)

Effectively i feel the part at risk is the win.

He starts from pole and often stays out in fromt when there.

The price - 7/1.

I think this is great value.

Well he is roughly evens to win the race, & 9/2 to set fastest lap, so is 7/1 both really "good" value?

Not saying he won't do either, or both, it just seems to be a double, at less than the price of the component parts, no?

7/1 is no value for that bet Kilsby

In Monaco Sergio Perez became the sixth different driver to set fastest lap in as many races.

It's completely unpredictable becuase of tyre strategies when the cards are light on fuel at the end of the race. Leading cars are often conserving tyres at the end

Vettel may win, but no need to gamble it up on fastest lap too.

Here is a plot of all 20 drivers lap times through the race at Monaco. Look how close it is at the end

Agree it isn't value especially if he is leading as he will try and set a pace that preserves his tyres which is why so many pole sitters have won this year.

Chisnall v Thornton in tonights Darts semi final.
Some firms have the 180's at 8.5 which looks about right, but Paddys have gone over 7.5 at 11/10 those who have the line at 7.5 have it between 4/6 and 10/11
I would suggest £70 on over 7.5 @11/10, i'd fancy this to be odds on come the off.

Both Players can smash them in espeacially Chisnall my only worry is that we run out of legs if Chisnall gets away.

Rory 3 under today, & now joint leader.

No hole in ones that I am aware of, either.

Fancy washington to beat red socks again

Out at the mo so will try to put up the reasoning later

Would only suggest 25 quid at any price over evens

Not seen the reasoning yet, but I got 6/4 with Bet365, though they maxed me at £20, so I've risked a score, & we have Washington, £20 @ 6/4, with Bet365.

ON

WAS Nationals(J Zimmermann) @ BOS Red Sox(J Lester)
Money Line  10/06/2012  6/4  None  To Run
Stake 20.00 To Win  30.00

Wow, good luck ACE! What price that bet now?!

Who originally put it up?

5 mins ago I was cursing myself for missing the 1 goal or under, a minute ago rinse repeat for backing Spain to win, now it's all to play for.

The swings, the swongs.
