On tonight’s Matchroom card Callum Smith takes on Nikola Sjekloca.

Callum's the guy that was blasting out domestic level fighters but I expect his KO rate to start dropping off. There were a few warning signs that the experienced journeymen who could see his punches coming could withstand a lot more punishment and recently he was taken the full 10 rounds by Biosse. Sjekloca is another step up, but he lost every round to another big busy super middleweight in Sakio Bika and looks tailor made for Smith.

Smith's 1/10 for the win, 7/10 by KO and 7/4 points. A points victory looks reasonable but Badjokes unanimous decision at 3-1 looks a bit too generous when Smith should be winning every round.

Rec £20 win by UD http://www.oddschecker.com/boxing/callum-smith-v-nikola-sjekloca/final-judgement

Thanks.

Don't think Tighty is around, probably watching the goal fest @ Leicester, so we have had £20 @ 3/1 with Ladbrokes.

Is it televised, if so, what time, please?

BET PLACED

Sky Box Office, and I think he's the next fighter on.

Ahh, thanks Mark.

I do hope a few of these bets come in, I'll get a Gold Star from Tighty if they do.

Can't believe I never put Channings 12/1 whizz-up on for Fred, £400 would have done the numbers no harm at all, but I was unsure of the protocol with BE stuff. Still, I got on myself, so I'll cry myself to sleep with that consolation. Wink

Pretty sure bald will just be moving off mug cash in their NWest shops, esp Liverpool, after some cash rich drug dealer has probably rocked up and had £20k on Bellew and now they want to 'give away' Cleverly slightly over the odds.

I was keen at evens earlier in the week so going to recommend £50 at 11/10 Cleverly baldfred.

Thanks.

Remarkably, given they must have a reasonably liquid market for this, they Restricted us to £28.40!

Anyway, we are on @ 11/10 with BetFred, £28.40 it is.

BET PLACED

Doesn't bode well for what i am about to go to my local bald's shop to ask for!!!!  I assumed they would be happy to lay Cleverly given how far they have pushed him out and their big NW shop estate presumably all backing the scouser.

I've had a quick look at the footage and I'd not want to back Pixie at 2/1, despite her looking the best in training. As discussed, it's a boom or bust dance IMO. Jake looks a little raunchy in the hips for my taste (less thrusting and more smoothness, please, sir; you'll upset the children) and Simon will look good but his salsa will get compared badly against Jake's footwork in the samba. Caroline will be competitive but I'm fairly convinced she's had her generous high score last week and won't get the same grace this week.

I've written before about Kevin giving Frankie and his other partners too much to do. This week, the Viennese Waltz is perfect, because it only has three moves, so there's not really much room for doing anything else. It'll be sweet and polite, which Craig usually hates, and she isn't perfect in her footwork. She's also has commented on having experienced sickness through all the turns, but I think that's just deliberate self-flagellation to throw us off the scent as to how it's gone in training. She was doing Fleckerls on Tuesday, which is seriously impressive.

About time a proper ballroom dance got top scores. I'm expecting a good'n. 9/2 is a touch generous with the returning Billy (thanks for re-joining us in the strictly highest score market, Mr Hill. Where were you last week?).

Frankie is worth £20. Wouldn't back it each way, because this is either all coming together or she won't see a ten.

Judges will be harsher tonight than last week, so I'd avoid the 40 bet. I'm sure it'll come I now of course Smiley

Ok, let's do this - we have £20 @ 9/2, Frankie Bridge to do whatever it is he has to do, with Wm Hill.

I used to do a bit of Ballroom Dancing (no sequins, mind), not competition stuff, just with the gf @ weddings & the like, can I guess what those 3 moves are?

Back-2-3?

The Sky Sports Super 6 was won today, free to enter, the winner scooped £250,000.

They had to predict the correct score in all 6 Premier League 3pm Kick Offs. A leap of faith to get that Burnley score correct!

The bookies have had a bit of a bashing in today's football, one suspects.

Lol

Well, yes, a waltz has three beats, so it's left-side-together, right-side-together, but that wasn't what I meant!

Viennese Waltz is all about turning and turning and turning...

Natural turns, reverse turns and the Fleckerl (spin in the middle of the floor).

United still holding on for 0-0 BTW?

Ahh yes, the old Fleckerl.

United "holding on" to 0-0?

Yes yes, of course.

Well actually, no, not exactly.....

Really with Stoke and Arsenal both losing at home at short prices and both heavily backed and 6 draws in the Championship.  I doubt many firms have lost today on the football.

Any time there is a 1-0 with an OG as the scorer i always think of Mrs Bandit backing and laying it to scoop the world.  Hope she has some interest in this arsenal game.  Only happens a couple of times a season.  This could easily be one of them.

Cheesy

I'm sure you won't need any melatonin to get you off, due to worrying about it.

I didn't see it myself, for some reason... Not sure why, because I almost always read the RTR article every weekend!

Still, great stuff, as always!
