Daily Report

Profit on Month £398.94

Outstanding Bets £3927.25

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc&usp=drive_web#gid=33

A profit of £299 yesterday.

Will try and do yesterday justice.

Race of Champions: A net profit of £120, with Coulthard winning at 25-1 (what a great tip)  beating our other bet Wehrlein into second

Sports Personality: A net profit of £70, with Lewis Hamilton winning, in quite a surprise especially as he mystifyingly brought his dog along, and Carl Froch our other bet in 9th. Note, do not back boxers in this, voting audience too middle class!

X-Factor: A net profit of £114. £134 of lays on Fleur against the big win position and the original £20 Fleur stake at 33-1 which just lost

Strictly: A net profit of £25. Jake Wood knocked out at 8-1 recommended at 10-1, offset by the position on the other bottom two dancer Mark Wright

other losers

The first half of Scarlets-Ulster was scoreless, but a try just after half-time ended the sweat -£10

The San Diego Chargers lost to Denver, ending their hopes of winning the AFC West -£20

ongoing positions

Manchester United's 3-0 win over Liverpool was bad news for the handicap bet, but Rooney scoring was good news

He now has 6 goals for the season, two behind an each-way place in the golden boot, on which we have £50 e/w at 14-1

Yes, he is playing in a deeper role and yes there are a lot of players to catch up with, as the current standings show

14 - Aguero 12 - Costa 9 - Sanchez 8 - Austin, Bony 7 - Pelle, Berahino, Cisse, Van Persie, Sakho

NFL

It was a poor ante-post night for us

first, the good news

Pittsburgh won in Atlanta and they are right in the hunt to win the AFC North with two weeks to go and make the play offs

Ben Roethlisberger broke his own Steelers single-season passing record with 4,344 yards.

Behind the Patriots, Broncos and Colts who have won their divisions in the AFC, the play-off list looks as follows

Bengals 9-4-1 Steelers 9-5 Ravens 9-5 Chiefs 8-6 Chargers 8-6 Bills 8-6 Texans 7-7

Pittsburgh play the Chiefs and Bengals at home to end the season

bad news

Green Bay lost to Buffalo (only 28% of spread bets were on Buffalo), and with Detroit winning they fell a game behind them in the NFC North. In the process the Packers fell to the number six seed in the play-offs. home field advantage in the play offs is vital to the Packers bet. Packers are 7-0 at home this season, 3-4 on road, so this was a costly loss

Aaron Rodgers came off worse against the excellent Buffalo defense

1st career game with 0 TD/multiple INT -

career-worst 40.5% completion pct -

career-high 28 incompletions

and not helped by seven drops by his Wide receivers, including one on a certain 95 yard TD by Jordy Nelson

The Eagles lost 38-27 to Dallas and fell a game behind them in the NFC East. A salvation may be the Cowboys have to play the Colts next week, whilst thed Eagles end against the Giants and Redskins but as of now the Eagles are outside the play-offs

Dez Bryant scored three touchdowns. Romo became the first player in NFL history with 3 TD passes and no Interceptions in 4-straight road games

in player bets

Kelvin Benjamin had 8 catches for 1o4 yards for Carolina who amazingly now lead the NFC South. As i say every week, we won't now win OROY because each week one of the fantastic set of rookie wide receivers goes wild. Yesterday it was Odell Beckham with three touchdowns, and Mike Evans with another to make 11 for the season

Matt Ryan threw for 310 yard for Atlanta and is now 4th in season passing yards. This each way bet paying three places is going to come down to the last game of the season and is being helped by Manning's numbers falling off dramatically and Rodgers' clunker yesterday

the table is on http://espn.go.com/nfl/statistics/player/_/stat/passing

Amazingly as he did not play yesterday, Julio Jones is still well in the hunt for the receiving yards title

http://espn.go.com/nfl/statistics/player/_/stat/receiving

amongst the rushing bets that will lose in a fortnight both McCoy and Charles had disappointing nights, held to 64 and 52 yards rushing respecitvely in their games

NBA

Three winners from three teams played in the NBA last night

Chicago Bulls beat Miami Heat 93-75

Toronto Raptors 95 NY Knicks 90 in overtime

San Antonio Spurs 99
Denver Nuggets 91

Elswehere Kobe Bryant passed Michael Johnson for 3rd most points ever in the NBA. He was playing the Timberwolves last night and our rookie of the year bet Andrew Wiggins. I quote

""like looking at a reflection of myself 19 years ago”

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2300136-kobe-bryant-compares-andrew-wiggins-to-a-17-year-old-kobe-bryant?utm_source=twitter.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=programming-national

Interesting looking at the SPOTY and X Factor votes. Completely the opposite to the Eurovision in terms of the market knowing the score.

Fleur never topped the vote any week and spent a good while as favourite, while Rory got shorter and shorter all day yesterday and was well beaten.

Anyone got any idea how the Arsenal most Premier League clean sheets bet is doing? Guessing not good?

Also excellent report as per Tighty, and hats off to Tal. Your SCD stuff is different gear sir.

Top work Peter, Tal & crew, a good weekend for Fred.

Actually warmed a little towards Hamilton after his SPOY award speech.

Very much so, also what a sweat Doobs gave us with Fleur, only to come up a shade short.

A fun weekend, & a good bit of profit.

Many thanks to all.

Yup, good weekend. Have we rung Ladbrokes yet to start the next X Factor portfolio?

Lol, no.

In all seriousness, I'm not sure it makes sense for me to be backing stuff 8 or 9 months down the line.

Keep posting them though, all recommends are appreciated, as plenty of others will want to climb aboard.

Too bad it's coming to an end this weekend. We've had some lovely results this series.

Jacket of the weekend, surely?

Run better Arsenal...

Anyone watch the live feed on skysportsnews? Was this correct for draw possibilities-

ARSENAL - Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Porto, Monaco

CHELSEA -  Juventus, Basel, PSG, Bayer Leverkusen, Shakhtar

MAN CITY - Real Madrid, Atletico, Barcelona, Monaco, Dortmund, Porto

http://media.fyre.co/k94iHlOTTj2H9If6RaBP_CLSpecials.PNG

10.47 5/4 for a spanish team that was evens?

Can't believe I am saying this, but Arsenal surely are worth a speculative wager.

Beat Monaco and then three more games for a 25-1 payout, on the exchange.

We can be bloody awful, but we can be brilliant, and if Wenger meets Marleys Ghost at Xmas, we may actually buy someone in New Year to shore up the D.

Was thinking similar, only concern is they get through and dont reduce in price much.

How does the draw work, is it back in the pot or do they play the winners of basle/porto

back in the pot

In the draws for the quarter-finals onwards, there will be no seedings, and teams from the same group or the same association can be drawn against each other.
