Any love for Trump @ 13/8 with Mr Choral? Ronnie is nowhere near his best and Bingham has rather forced him to accept a 6-0 whitewash in the semi. Ronnie has looked rather embarrassed to have won. Trump won a good match against Martin Gould (from 1-5 down), having knocked out Mark Williams in another good game in his quarter.

No one's setting the world alight in this tournament. Ronnie has beaten Trump in their last two finals. All in the price, though. Think Ronnie has been flattered by his opponents this week and that might make Trump a smidge o'value.

£24 if we fancy a Sunday Snooker Sweat.

Edit: sorry, this is in the Grand Prix final in Llandudno. Now 6/4. Same argument. Given modest stake, don't see any reason to change that.

4-3 to Ronnie at the moment, for those who have had a bet. First to ten.

Not a lot of options Tal, I avoid England internationals, the starting 11 gets worse each year.  I thought I heard the commentator today say Henderson will be future England captain

I think it was myself and Teacake who discussed it on here when they were around the 11/2 mark but at that time there so quite a bit of the unknown.  Our assumption was given the end they had to the season and young players they were bringing few it was worth a small investment and then by time we actually got round to suggesting it so much had changed, I actually got on myself at a bigger price than the 7/2 and it has felt as if it was winning on the bridle after the first round of games.

I genunley wasn't impressed by Rangers today, I  thought Hibs were also poor and amazing the difference in their attack when Cummings isn't there, I thought they still had enough without him.  But it wasnt to be.

Rangers are still worth opposing, I think today will skew opinions coming into the play offs.

Yeah I was on from as early as 1st June at 9/2 and 4/1, the thing I liked about it was we had 2 shots at winning as it wouldnt have been the greatest surprise if Rangers had gone into admin and took a points hit. As it turns out Hearts were even better than I thought and Rangers even worse. Hibs remain the biggest dodge pots in Scottish football for me, they are absolute bottle jobs. Not sure where Mcgeough gets a game with Celtic, I like him but think he's found his level.

England haven't had as many striker options since Hoddle's days. Rooney, Welbeck, Sturridge, Sterling, Kane, Austin, Lambert and Ings all could play in the next twelve months.

Oddly, we no longer have a defence or a central midfield. Henderson is not my favourite player by a long chalk, but I do consider he's first choice right now.

Ronnie 5-4 at the interval.

He talked himself out of it,he was so convinced Costa was a banker at 5/4. Aguero could have had 4 today at least.

Cheers for the heads up on pfa though at 10/1  Wink
Yo ryan whats your thoughts on this now costas just scored again? 2.25 juicy now surely innit?

He's not a cert but he has an ethic I think Ronnie can work with.  Far better than that wee tadger waiving bottle merchant Forrest imho.

Yes he is a banker to start for England, that is the worrying thing for the future.  Wellbeck Austin and Lambert just make up the numbers.   Can't disagree with the defence and midfield  statement.  We are still building for the future though, Wink. How many years has that quote been going around.

Chelsea will win the Premier League. Almost certainly.

Chelsea 1/10

Man C 14/1

Arsenal 25/1

Man U 50/1

Is there any maths case for a dabble?

If only.

That was my first thought at the time, but only Skeye & one other had odds up, both Win Only as far as I could see.

I've certainly seen bigger leads overturned, or my memory thinks I have.

As you were.

A 96 break wins the opener and is followed by an outrageous fluke, which wins Ronnie a frame Trump had dominated with excellent safety play. 7-4 and hard to see Trump coming back now. Sigh.

Don't give up Simon, he still has a chance, unless his head has gone.

Right on, as it were, cue.

7-5 and in the balls.

The audience just applauded a rerack. Hector would have booed the players mercilessly for such shameless antitippytappiness.
