What a daft font!

My fault for thinking they'd write the letters properly.

Could the returner be from the Bills?

Bingo.

You've redeemed yourself at the last possible moment.

Getting there on the river as ever.

I'm going to guess it's a pre season game.

The fact it's the only NFL game being shown, and there are two baseball games running concurrently means it is late/summer early autumn.

It can't be a SNF/MNF game surely (because they'd never show the Bills on prime time!) so that leads us to the conclusion it's almost certainly a pre season game.

August 11th 2013 or August 28th 2008 are my guesses.

Actually dout Boys II Men were playing the Mirage in 2008, so I'll go with the 2013 date.

11 August 2013
Colts 20-44 Bills
Probably Marquise Goodwin in the picture.

A mere application of deductive reasoning. Even a novice like me could work it out.

Hold onto your hats folks it's never easy buying money in my world when you run as bad as me.  If some books overreact today after another okc win (1/6 pre game against the Lakers last night) and Portland loss to Golden State (2/7 pre game) and go 1/6 or 1/7 Portland for the Division i will be topping up.

Although the teams on paper look tough for okc's next 3 games I don't think these teams will be busting a gut, they are virtually cemented in.  A win is a win,the Lakers aren't world beaters but the same could be said about Orlando where Portland went off at 1/4 and lost.  Hard to get out of a slump and thunder are rolling.

Larry if you write your post after the word Quote that is in brackets then your post will quote the other post instead of it looking like u wrote it, much easier to follow in conversation.

Steve Coogan the obvious pick,he would fill the shoes of clarkson with ease.

Steve Coogan ticks all the boxes doesn't he? Already on the books of the BBC, well liked by the public, affordable, available, knows cars, likes the show etc. etc.

http://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2011/feb/05/top-gear-offensive-steve-coogan?CMP=share_btn_tw

As the article above shows, could come in and shake things up a bit. Would probably not work with the other presenters though...

''Richard has his tongue so far down the back of Jeremy's trousers he could forge a career as the back end of a pantomime horse. His attempt to foster some Clarkson-like maverick status with his "edgy" humour is truly tragic. He reminds you of the squirt at school as he hangs round Clarkson the bully, as if to say, "I'm with him". Meanwhile, James May stands at the back holding their coats as they beat up the boy with the stutter.''

Chris Evans is the short priced favourite but categorically ruled himself out on his radio 2 breakfast show this morning.

8/1 Ladbrokes of interest? Would like to be 100% sure Mr Clarkson has got the sack first mind you although it seems all signs are pointing that way.

Wouldn't touch Coogan at 8/1. Johnny Vaughan would be a safer pair of presenting hands (previous success on BBC), whose secrets are all out in the open and who has an equally nerdy love of cars as Coogan.

Looks like a market where you can squiggle a lot of contenders. Let's bear in mind that Clarkson might have a say in who his successor is and the direction of the show might need to change.

@tal. Do you think a show like top gear isn't big enough for his talents?
