Evening Mr T.

The prices for tomorrow's Barcelona tennis are up and one price immediately stood out. Nadal is favourite, because there is no Djokovic, and the only person that I can see challenging him is Nishikori and this will be his season debut on clay. It usually takes some time to get reacquainted with it so the Betvictor price for Nadal is too good to miss.

Suggest £20 on Nadal @ 11/8 with betvictor.

I would expect him to be odds on even before he hits a ball.

Emailed those Seaniemac clowns twice to cancel the Hulk bets, and they've settled them as losers. So tilting.

Wasn't on myself but maybe a squeak for Fred to get paid out on Benteke FGS?

Thanks for this, Mr M.

Boyles are paying out on both Coutinho and Benteke. That's at least a start.

We wait with baited breath...

I'm on the case on my one with Mr P. Power. Fred is on with the Red Shouty Man, I think.

Well done on those Villa bets yesterday Tal Bloke, top value based tippage.

Well done also to KMac, Fred's resident Scottish Tory, in the Inverness - Celtic FGS coup.

T'was a decent day by the look of things.

5 wins out of 5

into 3/1 second favourite for the IPL...

Chennai Super Kings 156/4 (20/20 ov)
Rajasthan Royals 157/2 (18.2/20 ov)

AM Rahane not out                    76

smashing bet Tighty, love ones like these, really in for a good sweat and a nice price as well.

Amen to that, these are the little bets I most enjoy, small stake, big price & a lengthy sweat, & what a start for the original outsiders, 5 from 5.

Just had this e-mail come through from Boyle Sports:

Hi Peter,

It has come to our attention that you have placed a bet(s) on the Bahrain Grand Prix. Please be advised there was an error on our price display, 33/1 is incorrect the correct price is 7/1.The bet will stand at the correct price. If you wish to have the bet cancelled, you can do so prior to the start of the event (15.55 today)

This action has been taken in accordance with our rules General Rules, (I), which are as follows:

We will make every effort to ensure total accuracy in the issuing and publishing of our prices & information. However, we will not be held accountable or accept responsibility for any obvious errors or omissions made in any of the markets offered and we reserve the right to correct these errors as follows:

All palpable errors will be settled at correct price, unless the customer requests the bet to be made void before the start of the event.

This rule applies to both pre-event and in-running markets.

If there is anything else we can help you with, please do not hesitate to contact us via live chat 24/7 or reply on this email. We will be more than happy to help you.

Kind regards,

Gaming Support

UGH!!

Hi Peter,

I was AWOL yesterday, & am on catch up here, but just a comment about this one, which you might find useful in the future.

Your suggestion was....

Top 6 Finish - Nico Hulkenberg @ 33/1 with Boyles. There are a few scenarios where this could happen, the price is insanity! Way out of line of the other bookies. Suggest £5.

When you see a price THAT much out of line, it usually comes under what a bookmaker calls a palp, or "palbable error".

In these spots, you can get freerolled by the bookie in several ways.

1) You think the bet stands, & if it loses, nothing more is said.

2) If it wins, they refuse to pay out @ 33/1, claiming (correctly) it is a "palp".

So either way, we are getting freerolled.

Worse than either of those, there is a strong possibility that the bookie will either mark your account, a sort of Yellow Card, restrict it, or even close it, for being too sharp.

As I've learned to my cost, keeping our accounts clean is extremely important. If we (Fred) had looked after our Accounts better in the early days, I believe our ROI would be at least 1% higher, i.e., 5% not 4%. That's a huge difference. This particularly applies to the Green Irish chaps, & BetEveryDay. I shudder to think what being restricted by those two has cost us.

Hope that helps for future use.

I gather the race did not go too well for us yesterday, but no matter, embrace the variance, it is our friend & lover.

Kvyat finished behind Rcciardo and trails 19-4

Points for Force India who now have 11 for the season, target to beat 77
