10k starting chips.

Blinds 25/50.

1st hand.

You're sitting on the button.

Under the gun makes it 150.

4 callers.

You hold  suited and call for value.

Flop =  three diamonds

UTG bets 500.

You flat call.

Turn =

UTG bets 1200

You smooth call again.

River =

Board = three diamonds

UTG moves all-in for 8150

It's all-in to you. Call or fold?

I think I would fold.....but only because I wouldnt play the hand like that.

I dont like the smooth call on the flop, because you dont really know where you are

I dont like the smooth call on the turn, because you dont really know where you are.

Matey boy has been putting out continuation bets, and you are either

a) playing weakly by smooth calling
b) playing sneakily by smooth calling and not wanting to reveal the strength of your hand.

so I guess, if you are happy smooth calling the continuation bets, you have to be happy that you are in front, and will call . (and probably lose).

A poorly played hand IMHO

oooh!

I`m folding here at this stage.

he could have kk and have been betting on the flop to narrow the field. No re raise and on the turn he`s not worried about even trips so is then stringing you along or alternatively he could have 33,66 or 44 and has bravely raised pre flop to find out where he is...and has walked into trips..i dont think he can have you on a straight and hits the boat or quads on the river

but hell i`m so novicey i have fish like gills Cheesy

Laz.

Don't think I haven't forgotten that sneaky check on the river with the virtual nuts.  Cheesy

I almost took a second shot. Phew.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.
