Personally i would have edited out the fact i was wearing black socks with shorts. Kudos on sitting on the edge like that. No chance for me!

I only have black socks. Saves all that silly pairing up and throwing holey ones away nonsense.

How can you avoid pairing socks that have been washed differing numbers of times and are different shades of grey?

Have you ever examined my socks closely enough to see if they are different shades?

I rest my case.

No. But they are though, aren't they? Aren't they? AREN'T THEY?!

AREN'T THEY!?!?

I have three more somewhat tenuous entries for the machinery category.

Coffee machine on wheels. (I like it because it's doing good business parked in front of a closed down Starbucks).

Love this photo, great capture.
Now i got Saturday to get out and take some snaps, it will be the first pictures of the month for me on the last day of the month Sad
Lets hope the  sun stays out.

I had that problem after buying only black socks for about 5 years.  Matching almost identical but differently shaded all black socks is not fun.

So now I buy black socks with the coloured, stripey, spotty toes.  No problem anymore.

OK, maybe not the last ones.

This has to count as machinery.

Anyone know what it is/was?

OK  I expect this has been asked ( or similar) some where in this thread but cba going through to find it.

I have no luck with cameras what so ever, every one I purchase breaks usually just over the 1 yr warranty. Just like my last one did, not through damage just stops working end of.

Now with this months spare cash I want to buy another one as since Orlando all I have is my HTC Desire phone cam.

I have around £120  ( I know it is not much) to spend on one and I see Argos have some great 1/2 price offers on. http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Browse/ID72/14419441/c_1/1%7Ccategory_root%7CPhotography%7C14419436/c_2/2%7C14419436%7CDigital+cameras%7C14419441/r_001/4%7CPrice%7C100+%3C%3D++%3C%3D+199.99%7C2.htm

Any recommendations on any of these or should I just look at full price ones on the train of thought that the half price ones must be crap and not selling?

Not at all Maureen. Just replaced by later models.

Both Geo and Tony bought one of these. They are excellent camera's. (but not pocket size)

If I wanted a pocket size camera, I would buy a  Panasonic DMC-ZX1 or a Panasonic DMC-ZX3 off ebay for ~ £80 /100

If you want a pocket sized super compact then I'd go for a Canon Ixus 115 HS or a Nikon S5100.

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Search/searchTerms/S5100.htm

http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B004M8S22E/ref=asc_df_B004M8S22E7200301?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&tag=googlecouk06-21&linkCode=asn&creative=22206&creativeASIN=B004M8S22E

Some comparisons of them.
