Got to about 10ft at one point Jase. The bugger seemed to know all the spots that were the furthest from the main pathway, so a bit of climbing through thickets and sliding on my arse down embankments made it much more fun

Love those heron photos Geo, thank you.

On the Thames, right by Hampton Court bridge, a beautiful cormorant has taken up residence, & I'll try & get some snaps of him. He sort of sits proudly atop a mooring post, all tall & upright as cormorants do, & he'll make a cracking pic if I can catch him right.

Those pics remind me of a place I want to go to in China when I get round to it. Everything is made of ice and its all lit up.

Nice. I can't wait to go to Disney Land!! Just waiting for my daughter to get a bit older say like 10yrs old, she is currently 6 months old so saving enough is going to be a bit tight.

Good work with the fireworks, not at all easy to take decent snaps of.

Thanks Tom. I think I told the whole world. lol

I'd like to claim that I know what I'm doing with a camera but the reality is I haven't a clue. I bought a Panasonic TZ30 before I went and the auto settings are so good.

Cheers Milli. It is expensive especially if, like me you, can't say know to the kids or wife. It was the lads birthday on New Years day and when we were leaving the Magic Kingdom in the early hours of NYD he turned to me and said 'Dad, I don't think you'll be able to top this birthday'. Worth the cost just for that.

TZ30 is the camera I recommended to tikay as a replacement for his stolen bridge camera.

The auto settings are extremely clever at working out what kind of photograph you're taking and adjusting the settings accordingly, or 'cheating' as Tony & Geo some people call it.

I still plan to get that one Tom, but I've been too busy/disorganized to sort it so far.

Pretty annoyed with myself really, as the snow throws up such great photo opportunities.

It's a cracking camera for cheats like me and with £35 cashback on at the moment it only cost me £190.

I don't cheat though, when you see a photo of mine, it is precisely what I saw.
