News just breaking that he's been stripped of his 2010 Tour De France win for blood doping.

Pretty massive news, and another black mark on cycling's drug record.

Such a shame too, as the TDF is such a fantastic spectacle.  However, we're now in an era where we'll have to wait 5 years to know that the winner actually did win!

Wasn't that the year when Wiggins finished 4th too?

So now we finally have a Brit podium finish, although he never got to stand on the podium!

Anyone think the ban is daft? It's been backdated so he is stripped of titles but can race by the end of this year. Do winnings need to be repaid? What about sponsorships? 2 year ban starting today seems simpler.
