1k PLO tournament in Venice, WE ARE ON THE FINAL TABLE OIOI

THIS IS THE MONEY BUBBLE.

at 600/1200 we are 7handed.

UTG2 (38k stack) opens to 2,800. Btn (160k) calls I call in the BB (90k) with J988 cchh

Flop (9,200)

I check, UTG2 bets 6,800 BTN Folds. Back to me, he has 30k back.

what you wanna do here?

was he a good player? how aggressive?

Looks like a tough spot. I think it wud be terrible for villain to bet-fold here. so maybe your hand sucks against his range, but then its the bubble so maybe he can find a bet-fold

seems like a close spot. probably need more information. Were there any other short stacks at the table? how has he been playing towards the bubble? definitely a big factor when the bubble is just 8-9 ppl left...

I only play Omaha for smallish stakes both live and online, I would never be folding out hand, and it seems to me that our oppo has very little fold equity so I would probably call in this spot hopping we bink the turn and either take the rest of his chips or just fold if he barrels again.

the table is me and 6 Italians, on the bubble. He's been both passive and spewy in bursts all comp, played very tight, then 4bet jammed 459T and so on. bottom 5 stacks have similar stacks me and him are 6 and 7 but not by much.

Great dynamics here.  Is the villain the short stack on the bubble or is there any other short/micro stacks?

What's his C-bet like and are you getting any vibe off him as to is comfort level right now?

My first instinct is to raise 4/5 pot - get it in but I'm pretty addicted to wraps this good, maybe too much.

I think a call is also fine to keep him in and possibly have him spew on a later street, the problem with this being we really need to hit the turn.  With his stack size we probably have to fold a bunch of turns that he might bet for value/spew on.

I like to pressure the bubble so I'm sating raise/get it in>>>Call>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Fold.  Yes there are a few nightmare hands for us he can have but from what you've said I expect him capable of folding a lot of made holdings as well as getting it in with poor equity holdings.

Never folding this hand pre in this spot.

Yh I think it's quite close, however the table was me and 6 Italian's in ther mid-40's, and whereas it doesn't play that great multi-way I'm closing the action and my hand CAN flop big with nice stacks to chk/pot.

live tourney so don't really know any of this, all I know is he isn't very likely to be c-betting complete air. doesn't mean he wont bet/fold but he DEFO has some pretty reasonable connection to the flop.

Clear evidence they were all completely terrible, imo. Italian, 40's, what more proof do we need?

PS - Hope you won the thing. Head for LA with morale boosted, & all that.

PPS - Am not calling pre with that, nits ftw, but replace one of the 8's with a 10, (so, J-10-9-8cchh) & I'm deffo having a look.

Not a PLO player at all but it seems like you have so many blockers to the wraps that I'd say he almost certainly has a made hand, 2pr+ probably which we're doing badly against so I fold the flop but I think fold and peel are close so I see why you'd peel rather than pot. Def not getting it in.

Maybe I'm just tez at PLO though
