Me and mrs tats were sat on a hospital bed in peterborough and a doctor told us our daughter ( aged4 ) then had leukaemia blast cells in her blood
As me n mrs tats had split up a bit ago I was supposed to be looking after my daughter for the second half of half term instead
Off we went to paediatric oncology at Addenbrookes
Wher she was given 2 units of blood and 1 of platelets as her cell counts were so low , so she could have a lumbar puncture the next day to diagnose what type of leukaemia it was
And so began the most stressful time of our lives after two years of chemotherapy all we could do was wait a further 3/5 years to find out if it had all worked
Thankfully it did work and now she is a perfectly normal 12 year old kid
All of that changed my outlook on life and it's why I'm such a daft twat / piss taker now and dont take much to seriously

Lost family members to cancer, but i imagine it is a million times worse when it is a little one, especially your own daughter. Glad everything worked out! Make sure you stay a daft twat.

It's always nice to hear good news story and having met you both, you should be proud of yourself as a Dad and proud of your daughter who is a very nice, well mannered young lady.

That's great news.
Six months ago, I thought I might have cancer, it made me all serious. Different strokes, I guess. My default position is daftie/joker mind you.

It'll make your time together that much more special.
