I particularly enjoyed reading the final paragraph of this little offering: http://news.arseblog.com/2016/11/graham-hopefully-mustafi-is-the-one/

Is this the same parallel universe where they don't lose to Middlesbrough twice and United and can therefore actually claim to be "Invincible" for a season?

I usually hate these overblown build-ups to what more often than not turn out to be terrible anticlimaxes, however the buildup to Saturday's noon KO features one of my favourite images; the moment when Arsene Wenger steps forward and put his hands on Jose's chest and the little shit totally lost his bottle and his legs buckled at the knee. It's better than the John Lewis Xmas ad.
Oh how we laughed and continue to do so.

When was the last time Ozil had an exceptional game against a big team? Possibly never?

the arsenal stat quoted today in the RPost since 2012 by the betway PR man was incredible if true. 50 something games at 8/11 or bigger since 2012 in the epl and they only won 9 times at an average price of 5/4. Even if you backed them at 7/2 you would still be losing. Just added to that awful stat today. Thought it was just at Stoke away they couldn't get it done around the 5/6 mark not everywhere!
Flattrackbullies.com. If they could just run to EV verses the top 10 they would have won a couple of titles surely since 2012?

We were awful today when it came to creativity and considering Ozil had the interlull off he was very disappointing dwelling too long on the ball on numerous occasions. It's possible that he didn't have some of his usual out-balls as options as Hector(Bellerin) was a big miss with a nervy Jenkinson stanging in, and Alexis understandably only a shadow of his normal self with a heavily strapped thigh and jet-lag even if he is somewhat super-human. Cracking equalizer from the HFB though

In some ways I admire Wenger's loyalty to his players but in other times it really annoys me. What did Iwobi do to get benched for Ramsey when he's been mediocre since 2013 and isn't even playing in his proper position? If you're going to play Ramsey just put him in the frigging middle where he belongs. Against big teams play him CAM and give Ozil the day off, he doesn't seem to enjoy playing anyone who isn't going to make life easy for him.

In true armchair fashion me my son and nephew were calling for Ramsey off after 20 mins. Sanchez should have been pulled at half time too. Knew there'd be changes but we'd have to wait for 70 mins or so. It is a big blinds pot for Wenger I think

Very much flat track bullies. I was in an argument/debate elsewhere yesterday about Arsenal's weak spot against the better teams in the league away from home. Yesterday was more of the same. They have won just 1 away game in each of the last 3 seasons against the 8 other teams that finished with them in the top 9: 13/14 W1 D1 L6 14/15 W1 D 2 L5 15/16 W1 D 5 L2 3 wins in 24 games there and most if not all would be included in the 50 games at 8/11 or above as per your 50 game stat. Those results are shocking and by far the worst record compared to the other big teams. On similar lines and in games involving the Big 6, home and away, Arsenal are consistently off the pace. Points per game average since the start of 2011/2012 season: City 1.60 United 1.50 Chelsea 1.47 Liverpool 1.31 Arsenal 1.13 Spurs 1.06

Not surprised to see those stats. We're good at consistently turning over the weaker teams, unlike say Spurs or Liverpool who tend to drop points randomly throughout a season. There seems to be a big mental block against the better sides however, shown by how scarily often we've seen Arsenal not just beaten but absolutely thrashed.
I also remember the worst United side i've ever seen under Moyes come to the Emirates and we couldn't even beat them then. Same as last season when we lost 2-0 to a terrible United and Chelsea side when everyone else was piling into them.

As much as i love Ozil he goes missing too often in the big games. When you pay that much for a CAM you expect him to stand out and be the difference - like Sanchez. For most of the time on the pitch today he cut a languid figure barely making a mark on the game, the exception being that slick reverse pass to Sanchez before the penalty.
Of course i don't think we should sell him, but i do think he ought to not just walk into the side anymore. I think Sanchez would possibly be better than anywhere else in the CAM position and Ramsey was an absolute beast there during the world cup. Maybe a bit of competition will help us to get the best out of the German in the long term, and in the short term it might actually be better for Arsenal.

Is Ozil maybe just going through the motions whilst waiting for his next big move?
