We appear to have made an astute new signing in this Wenger chappie although the 2-year contract seems a little short - hopefully there's a renewal clause.

I thought our squad looked extremely strong at the start of last season - the strongest group of players since the invincible season - having acquired two £30M+ players and kept everyone we wanted to. |

Ox being offered £100k per week to stay. Have to say I'm a fan of the Ox and am glad it's looking like he's going to stay.
Giroud wants to stay and compete for a spot. Not sure I'm as keen on this news. He could have competed more in the last few years but didn't.

Giroud only signed a contract extension in January until 2020 - I'd be surprised if he were to leave now.
I'd like to see us finally jettison Theo but that might prove tricky given his current £150K pw wages - perhaps we can swop him for Mahrez.
