To be expected.  We play again early on Sunday, that doesn't give much recuperation time.

Arsenal field a much weakened team in tonight's Europa League affair. For those keen to watch - everyone, surely? - don't forget it is a 6pm kick off.

Should be enough to handle the young masters of Bate.

We actually have a blonde Member & regular contributor with exactly that (real) name.

Master Bates, Seaman Staines, and Roger the cabin-boy were all characters in "Captain Pugwash" which was first  shown on BBC children's TV in 1957.

September began with 11 pages of OMG OMG OMG, but 5 wins from 6 in the month (and a draw away to Chelsea) killed the thread.

blonde is doomed, I fear.

Not a good run for blonde.  We've got a fairly nice fixture list until we play City early November.  It'll be fairly quiet until then and we'll either see another melt down or some high praises at that point.    Need to hold on until then Tikay Cheesy

Master Bates ITT.

Stick to cricket, sunshine. Explain how Middlesex fell so spectacularly from grace this season.

Suspect this good run must have caught the eye of those at Bayern.  Think the board should step up and give Arsene a two year extension to make him harder to poach.  Sure Adz will agree that would be good business.

I would rather discuss how the mighty eagles won the league!

Nah, let him go and we can poach Poch by paying him the £8b a year we give Arsene Wanger
