Spotted on google....

St Totteringham's Day.

2025/2026 Season:
Sunday 1st March 2026
Achieved in 28 Matches

1st March 2026 Update:
We have much to celebrate today! St. Totteringham's Day has been achieved, and its the earlist ever on record! With Fulham beating Spurs 2-1 at home, Tottenham are mathematically unable to catch Arsenal! 28 matches is all it took, with 10 to spare! It's a two-fold combination: First, Arsenal being on top of the league for so long, with an impressive, albeit not perfect form. And secondly (let's be honest), more down to the fact that Spurs have been ABSOLUTELY awful this season!

As of writing this, it has been 10 Premier League games since the Spuds won a match, and they have not won anything in 2026. Ouch. Considered we had 6 painful years of no St. Totteringham's Day, the last few years, in particular the last two seasons have felt somewhat like a walk in the park. The gap between Arsenal and Tottenham is arguably as wide as it has ever been.

Naturally, all eyes turn towards the Premier League - can we do it? We are still in all four competitions, and my feeling is if we win one we will win more. I am starting to believe that we might just do this, but there's a long road to go still. The game that will probably decide the fate of us is the Man City away game on the 22nd March. If we beat them there, we'll go on to win the league.

As for the future of St. Totteringham's Day, well, if I'm honest I hope Spurs don't go down. Sure, we'll all have a good laugh. But it will make this website seem rather pointless! When do we celebrate St. Tott's if Spurs get relegated? Arguably it would be the first day of the season as that's the mathematical date. We're getting ahead of ourselves, but I believe they will find a way to scrape into 17th, again. Congratulations to the Gunners again this year, and LES DO DIS!

That, of course, pre-dated last night's Spurs - Palace game.

Spurs just look awful at the minute.

Some of it can be semi-explained by bad luck. For example the injuries, and the surprising abject failure that was Frank.

But it is equally true to say some parts are, or at least should be, blindingly obvious. To give 2 examples:

1. We had a similarly bad run with injuries last year. So-for example-why could we not have had recall options for players out on loan. 1 Defender, 1 nidfielder, 1 attacker. So-for example-if players would be in the starting 11 for us due to injuries, they could be recalled. Right now, Vuskovic should be playing CB and Mikey Moore on the Wing.

2. What exactly is the point of Igor Tudor? Brought in without being able to sign players. Told he is only a short-term appointment. Says he needs to boost confidence, and then proceeds to say half the players are unfit, and half lack fight. And that this is his hardest ever job. And says all this publicly. That's going to really help restore confidence. Can see why he hasn't lasted at 10 clubs in the last 13 years, and only won the Croatian Cup in all that time. His zero knowledge of the English game is exemplified by his pronouncements about referees. And don't even start me about subs. Porro was having 1 if his better games. His creativity is always there, and sometimes he was in the same Postcode as the opposition Winger. Gray having his best game in Midfield for Spurs. So-switch him back into Porro's position in Defence?

Arsenal? I think you will win the League. You are not playing well. But because you are playing OK, and none of the chasers look to be playing well enough to catch up. Still believe if you had stuck with Unai Emery, you would not have gone 22 years without winning the League.
