A squad full of world class players?
Full of them?
Really?

Koscielny, Ramsey, Walcott, The Ox, Debuchy is a pretty decent start.

world class?

Think they'd all walk into any Premier League squad at the moment.

Is that the definition of world class these days?

Imo, maybe one of those players is world class.

Well, what is the definition?

Capable of representing their country at the World Cup? All of my named players would do that.

Capable of being picked in the World's best XI? I doubt more than 2 players in the Premier League would be in that.

Danny Welbeck fits that first, fairly cavalier, definition, have you changed your view of him?

World class ought to mean selection in a squad of 30 players.

No I don't think Danny Welbeck is world class.

But Arsenal should have at least one world class striker. The fact they haven't is purely down to Wenger.

Why didn't they go all out for Lewandowski? Or Falcao? Or get RVP back when Falcao chose Man Utd?

Or even get Mandzucic when RL went to Bayern?

Welbeck falls inside your definition though.

But that would mean a change from your previous view that he wasn't good enough for Manchester United.

As for the rest, why bother backing up your assertion that Arsenal have multiple world class players in their midst when you can just join in with the 'Arsene should sign some players' crowd.

Strikers or attackers is definitely not what Arsenal need and Debuchy is nowhere near world class. Arsenal have needed a defensive midfielder since Gilberto Silva left.

Quality work, even if it delivers an ear worm that is very hard to shake off.

The exact definition isn't really important.

What I'm trying to say is the man following Wenger will be in an amazing position. And this will all be created by Wenger himself. He has got the club in a very strong position. But they are not winning trophies.

I guess the man who follows Arsene will be in a similar position to the one Guardiola was in when he replaced Heynckes at Bayern.

He inherited a great team with loads of money in the bank to spend as he pleases.

The only difference is that Guardiola took over a Champions League winning team. And the fans were spoiled by success.

Arsenal fans cannot be accused of that!

Compare this to the position Moyes was in when appointed to succeed Fergie. Virtually impossible.

An aging team and owners not keen (or perhaps able) to put their hands in the pockets deep enough to buy adequate replacements.

Just a couple of years ago Fergie had Giggs, Scholes, Ferdinand, Vidic and Evra.

Moyes had to try and replecate Fergies success with Young, Feliani, Smalling, Evans and Cleverley.

Not fair!

Bellerin is very promising, only 19 and sprints faster than Theo.

The thing I liked best about today's performance was that tackle he got booked for.

That wasn't old crusty-nose's opinion, he left Moyes with the 'strongest squad United have ever had'

Never understand how anyone can claim great management by changing half the team with minutes to go.

3 rabbits in headlights for last 5 mins makes no sense at all while others still "in play mode". 1 maybe, 3 stupid.

Come in Mr Wegner, your time is very nearly up

What's the point in zonal marking when your team aren't any good at it?  Time and again Arsenal are exposed at set pieces.  Is Steve Bould really the guy to sort out that defence?

Arsenal should go for Simeone imo.

We have to be the worst team in the league at corners.

Never seen us look string two decent ones together.
