Blinds at 30k/60k

Pierrepoint raises to 150k utg with
Buchannan in the BB with  puts 90k in and we go to a flop.

flop and Pierrepoint leads with a bet of 200k with 2 pair and Buchannan gets out of the way.

1st hand of the final table:

Short stack Charlie Wates with 210k looks down to pocket aces on the button. Blinds 15k/30k and he just about min raises. SB passes and BB David Craigon looks down to . He must have smelt a rat and folded pre.

Yeah, I don't think this hand happened, or if it did, it didn't happen to me.

Well, it's pointless me trying to deny it :-)

Don't recall it at all. Sure there wasn't a limp or something earlier on? The first hand I remember was jamming T4 or T5 into the shorty in seat 1.

Last hand at this level 30k/60k

Wates raises 135k with
Ambler flat calls with

Check Check on a flop of

Ambler sees weakness and leads out on a   turn but wates having none of it and goes over the top and shoves all in.
Ambler does the hollywood tank but eventually passes

Battle of the Blinds just took place.

Wates in the SB min raises with  and
Khan thinks he will have a look at the flop with  two spades

on a flop of  it goes all in.

Wates having a flopped straight
Khan having a flush draw

Board runs out  and wates doubles up.

Khan on the button shoves for around 800k with
Ambler in the SB holding  finds a call with the BB still to act behind him but the BB passes.

Board runs out:

Full house for Khan and now chip leader.
