there are real people called Algernon?

He's a lovely bloke and it's pronounced Halgernon.

My personal prediction is with the payouts as they are and the mix of players as it is that this is a lock to get dealt 6 or 7 ways at about 9.30pm

Book it, readers.

Mudasser Hussain shoves UTG for 47k. It folds to the big blind of Ross Mitchell who calls.
Hussain -
Mitchell -
No sweat as the first card out is the eliminating Hussain

Obvioulsy not disputing his loveliness - reminds me of the Billy Connolly "uperclass" sketch - you know the "real upper class"

David Craigon on about 550k as chip leader.
We've been informed he's regularly involved in the biggest pots and tends to have a yo-yo stack.
With a table including Tom Ambler and Lewis Mitchell fireworks could go off, both with chips and both with a high quality A-game

Tony Phillips doubles up

Down to 84,000 before the hand...A-K in the cut off, shove called on the button by Vikas Sabharwal with A-9

A-K holds to send Phillips back towards an average stack

this is by far the most lively table

Ambler is button to Mitchell's blind and they are two big stacks tangling a lot

Combined age about 36.

Skippy sits two to their left and is in great shape.

Good luck to Tom Ambler, Lewis Mitchell and Garry Hallows. All Sheffield players but shame they are on the same table.
Also the best of luck to John Exley, another Sheffield player and a real gentleman of the game.
