ok lets put it this way

there is a basketball game team a v team b

team a is 1.5 to win team b is 3.0 (its a 100% market)

team a is slow starter but will come good

is there any difference bettween laying team A not wo back later and betting team B to lay later?

none at all

If you are inexperienced its easier to deal with just one of sides, ie lay side A, and back them back. Rather than tryign to lay both sides, or backign both sides

I would also always just stick with the shorter priced one of the 2, as liquidity better
