Or e- waste everyone's time and create a thread on blonde
Or decide for everyone that comes on here what is and isn't a waste of time and then take the time to reply.

Put it down to experience mate. Alls well that ends well.
Try this one.
Wednesday in the park next to the school 30 kids or so playing on the slides and climbing frames etc.
Thursday go to the park and half of the stuff has gone AWOL and all the mums say the council are replacing it.
Friday morning before school all mums up in arms because it is alleged Gypsies have taken the equipment for scrap.
Now my dilemma is this. I know 100% who the culprits will be and thought at first to drive past where they live and check it out. Then thought what good would that do. I would never consider going to the police for personal reasons so do I just ignore it?
And why am I sat here feeling guilty about what Tom might say when my kids ain't got climbing frames to play on.
I'm confused Jase. If you know 100% who has it, why do you need to ride past to confirm it?
Why are you worried about what I would say. Why would I say anything?

They have a very distinctive van and sounding horn Tom and i dont know 100% they have it but i know who they will be thinking of. they come round for scrap about every 4 weeks and were in our area on tuesday. All the women were saying its Gypsies and i did not ask em how they know for defo or even if they are Gypsies/travellers.
i dont know how to put it over in the correct way and it is my failing that i am finding it difficult because i know you and would not need to find a way of explaining myself if i did not know you.

If the school has that mobile phones policy policy then presumably they provide a service where the phones can be handed in to the office on arrival and collected after school.
no such thing im affraid

Lee, How did i know as I read down the Shooting People Up option would be there?
Also, for kids, if you give them PAYG phones, I can promise the wont take them. Its all about who has the newest and best these days. But the idea about the 11 year old leaving hers at home is good. Any emergency happens then the school will be in touch with you. Your 13 year old seems to have the sense to report it using better judgement.
As for the kid who did it, shoot him. Or, you could go and talk to his parents. If its happened before and he still does it then there is a serious lack of discipline in his life and maybe just from you going round to thank the parents for returning the phone (making sure he see's you ofc) will scare him shitless.
I would personally make sure my daughter tells everyone she can so the boy becomes an outcast to society.

Wow that is horrible, good job he knew who it was.
I think the school should deal with it but then again , what can the school really do to ensure he wot do it again?
Maybe the girls can wear some kind of small
Mobile phone holder bag under there shirts it's small and light and if anything it's always with them hidden under there uniform.

YEAH was pretty afraid of this due to my ignorance.
Turns out they have been caught on the cctv from the village hall next door and police already have them in custody.
