Party Poker "Late Night Poker Ace"

Thought I'd big up a Blondeite who qualified for the semi final of this on Party Poker last night.

Simon C (JBSC7769) finished in the top 25 of the qualifier on Party and goes into the semi final on 29 June. 150 runners max and the top 42 go on to play a series of Late Night poker to be fimed in Cardiff and shown on Channel 4 in August 2005.

Any other blondites qualified yet?

Can you only qualify through Party?

Yes. I think the last qualifier is next wednesday. You can only sign up if you have used the bonus "POKERACENOW". I am not sure if you can play more than 1 qualifier. I will try and sign up later to test that. (Finished about 130th last night!)

you can only sign up for 1 quailfier according to the rules which is why i am waiting for all the junkies to fight it out and i'll take the last chance hopefully less players less good players and full of fish

Errrr hmmmm. Second highest chip leader on table, dealt AsKs, lost to chip leaders 6h8h. I made Ace high straight, he made Q high flush. I made an exit.

I am pleased to say it wasnt me Robert! I made a move very early on and was amongst the chip leaders for most of the event. First hour or two I was a bit of a bully and then sleep time as i thought i had done enough (although it went hand for hand with 40 runners left so a very long night).
I had entered a $30 rebuy event a few hours earlier and that was focus for a long time as I made final table in that, good value as first place was just under 8k. I had decided if I won it, it was WSOP money. Unfortunately, Eight out, MY AQ ran into JQ (not a bad beat story, just fact!!) Still, decent enough pay out all considered, especially as I didnt take a rebuy, just an addon.
I loved late night poker, even when i was not a poker player. I used to love watching it. It also was a big factor in many people becoming aware of players like Devilfish.
